That’s what saddens me the most. I know these adults doing these didn’t make these decisions in a vacuum and the surgeons/doctors/TRA’s are also to blame but they’re still adults at the end of the day. I don’t think this should be considered a (or the only) “treatment” for gender dysphoria though. If they want it done it should be a body mod thing.

Pregnancy post-phallo?/ meta + phallo without burial

So what I want is 2 dicks and a cunt, I'm thinking I could get metoidioplasty and then phalloplasty without burial or v-nectomy, does anyone know anyone who's gotten surgery like that? I'm pretty confident it'd be possible right?

I also know that I want to get pregnant and give birth, I'm wondering about the possibility of doing so AFTER bottom surgery w/out v-nectomy, especially the possibility of giving birth vaginally. I'm 20, I'm not anywhere close to ready to start having kids, but i want to have bottom surgery as soon as possible, i don't think i could wait years until after i've started a family, i also don't know if i could withstand the dysphoria of pregnancy without having had any bottom surgery first. Isn't it normal to schedule top surgery after one consult?
Heyy so I'm super nonbinary actually so I've been torn between a radical reduction and full top surgery and maybe like an idiot I admitted this uncertainty to a very skilled but very cisgender surgeon when I went in for a consult. Y'know after poking at my chest for a bit we talked about what surgeries were options for me and narrowed it down to either a like standard "breast reduction", (don't remember the specific type idk) or buttonhole (she didn't call it buttonhole but same idea), I was very much leaning towards buttonhole so when the appointment was over I'm almost certain I remember her directing me towards the scheduling person to go ahead and schedule a buttonhole top surgery, but like a since I still didn't feel 10000000% sure I didn't want to commit to a date yet so I didn't, and just left. But my understanding leaving that day was that I could just call once I was ready and schedule surgery.

This was about July, I proceeded to have a extremely bad mental health time (transness unrelated) August-September and so this whole thing was kinda put on the back burner, but by early October I felt 95% sure I wanted buttonhole with her as soon as possible so my mom (I'm 17, their office is only open when I'm in school) has been back and forth calling with them to try and schedule surgery for all of October.

Now finally today, my mom got me an appointment March 25 but it's not for surgery? It's to discuss "surgery specifics" since "I hadn't seemed sure during our last consult" and then I'd be permitted to schedule surgery with them after that.

This strikes me as weird since my understanding is that the norm is after one consult with a top surgeon you can schedule the actual surgery, that there'll be some pre-op meetings in between those two events but you don't need to schedule those one after the other, but am I wrong about this?

I have a half day tomorrow so I think I'll call up their office myself and try and clear things up? But not sure exactly what to say, depends on weather I'm right in my assumptions above or not.

It’s easier to accept how barbaric this “treatment” is when you realize that pretty much every human on the planet experiences a form of “body dysphoria.” It’s just called “poor body image” for everyone else and it’s a red flag if someone starves or cuts themselves up (either self or under the knife) to feel “better” about how they look. Since troons repackage that experience as a cutesy term, they can make it seem more specialized or unique than it really is.

A lot of the pooner surgeries that involve body parts being excised like this one fuck me up. Tit chops, hysterectomies, vaginectomies, they would only be done if absolutely medically necessary for others. Hell, they are often traumatizing for women that have them because it can really give you a loss of identity even if it was actually life saving. You cannot convince me that SRS is not a symbol of intense self hatred when it’s meant to “kill” the person someone used to be.

It's fun and not inaccurate to say "autism" when looking for why trooning happens, but the issue is that even the label of autism itself is sort of broad and vague. We know many typical indicators of autism, but they occur over a wide spectrum of possible presentation of the disorder, and so far no causal mechanism has been found. There does seem to be a heritability to the traits, but also children who have been malsocialized will display similar traits without a family history. So the question is then, is the label of autism masking a more complex landscape of variables with more specific explanations possible. Obviously there is something going on with these diagnoses, since the same behavior patterns repeat, but is it really an indication that all the people we label under "ASD" are suffering from variations on the same core issue, or are they all displaying some similar outcomes to a wide variety of possible causes.

Relating this to troons, my question is, why the military dudes? Why do the dudes trooning seem to follow typologies, the military macho bro to troon pipeline being very evident. Saying "autistic" kind of glosses over the very specific life trajectory these dudes seem to take. Talking about gender identity like its this impenetrable black box you can't question means that nobody is even really bothering to try and look at causal mechanisms or typologies of GID, probably because Blanchard got them so right and they want to pretend that there aren't obviously different types of trans expression.

Obviously something is going on there, there has to be some linking set of variables that underlie this repeating pattern. IT would be worth exploring to see if you could catch this progression before they get cracked, so that they can help deal with this insecurity, ways to explore getting these people functional and comfortable in their own skin.

Out of curiosity, what’s the best results of one of these have you ever seen? One that doesn’t look like an alien designed it and actually does look like how it’s meant to look like.

I have seen a couple of “good” results.

They’re still objectively bad, with deflated ballsack “labia” and cavernous holes sitting lower and outside the “vulva”. But you could also see what the surgeon was going for, and there wasn’t horrible scarring, puckering, or raw open lesions.

It’s very rare. They’ll never pass as a factory original under scrutiny. But at a quick glance by someone who isn’t all that familiar with how vulvas are supposed to look, they might make someone do a double take.

Thats always been one valid train of thought being that: "Im a failed man, or failed as a man so why not become a woman?" If you've been looking at porn all the time and see unrealistic standards of men, it can def emasculate you and hurt your perception of sex. It becomes an body dsymorpia issue. This argument has always worked better for pooners IMO. When you see a woman/girl in some cases who isn't traditionally feminine or have the physical attributes to match, it can lead to self image issues and the idea of "I don't look like a woman and have failed, let me try being a dood." or "Im not into normal female interests, I must be a guy".
