300,000 bucks is probably a VERY generous cost estimation.
The current prize for a CAR-T therapy is around 300,000 €, and that actually works and is potentially going to become cheaper.
It's just a hopeless delusion, it's never gonna work, and even if there is some fantastic breakthrough in biomedical research that would make it possible, at that point we would have more than enough data to show that medical transition has little to no health benefits, with all these young people on hormones and blockers now.

I can't remember if I said this in this thread or another, but it would be more viable to develop a working artificial womb which would also have the benefit of possibly helping infertile women than transplanting a real womb to a man. There is no way in hell their bodies aren't going to reject it and the Medical Community is truly committing Troon Genocide to line their pockets.
But if they're going to do this then I suggest they use the wombs of the 41 percenters of Pooners to help their Troon "sisters". Keep this shit in the tranny family.

Technically the idea is that it forms a “skin” layer that is later sealed up as a urethra. This is because ones that are made initially in one step with the Swiss-Skin Cake Roll method are both very bulky and prone to failure. A different method uses a harvested vein as a urethra, this also frequently fails.What's the "logic" of doing a phalloplasty this way? What are they trying to achieve here?
This seems to be a new-ish method, so whether it is “better” than the other two is questionable. Honestly I think it will go the same way Cetrulo’s experiments went (Elephant Dick and others for example).

What makes a surgeon think that cells making a vein for blood to pass through will handle working as an urethra? Do they know pee is not blood? Are they aware urethras have specialized cells? Were those 10 years in med school for nothing?
This is something I sometimes hope they try, because I am sure it will cause long lasting complications at best and death at worst to many of the tims in which they will experiment on. Give those doctors some humility and show them and the tims that they can't play god for once.

Yes, and the point of my post is that if/when they do, humanity will need to invent new words for the type of suffering we've created. Maybe something short and sweet like 'lobotomy', always understood negatively in current year, right now we're still on the euphemism treadmill from sex change -> sex reassigment -> gender affirmation etc but I can give it a decade or three

I hope that when they write in the history books about the horrors of stinkditches and rotdogs being commonly accepted despite their failures and barbarity, they'll add some caveat saying how there were people who derided and mocked the practice, how they were ahead of their time.
It grinds my gears how things like lobotomies, witch burnings, and other atrocities never have the protestations of the many who opposed them at the time. It paints a caricature of history, the one you see in movies where the peasants are caked in shit and don't care when their children die in front of them, a dehumanized humanity.
