i've posted on this reddit before with my issues with dilating (which i am still having) but i have an appointment to get a pelvic floor specialist VERY SOON!!! aside from that i've been wanting to share my results for a while.

I'm 18 years old, been on blockers since 11 and estrodial since 13 (subtract a month cuz of the days i forgor hehe) but i had very little donor tissue considering i never went through puberty. this could also be the cause of my problems but regardless all will be sorted! ALSO!! I had about 5/6 treatments of laser hair removal (plus my legs ) and i haven't had them in about 2 months so in my most recent photos please give me some grace. I WAS ABLE TO SHAVE YESTERDAY THO SO PURRRR!!

Photos were posted in order from earliest to most recent. first photo was taken exactly 1 week after surgery. first dilation at home. very bruised very puffy very ugly. tbh it looks so much worse in photos than it actually was. i had a little feeling and what feeling i had felt very... tight ? and weird? not very fun. also i was on oxy for about 3 weeks (every 4 hours) and icing 24/7 cuz it hurt so bad.

2nd photo. August 4th. as u can see there is the start of some dehiscence at the bottom. stitches are starting to come loose and it starts to hit the ugly duckling stage. so gross so ugly. so swollen. nothing much else to say other than i knew the dehiscence was gonna happen but i was stressed cuz it was ugly and honestly kinda huge.

3rd photo. August 6th. dehiscence got WORSER! that's about it.

4/5/6/7/8 photo. August 13th. IM BACK HOMEEE!!! i drive a total of 20 hours (pillows oxy and character ai [girl i was entertained] AND kpop. plus my 2 friends were with me) so that did NOT help with the dehiscence. as u can see it's basically a second vagina. also my discharge was annoying and kept coming out everywhere so it's just crusted above my clit but just put some wipes on that and ur good.
9/10 photo. Aug 20. one week later. the dehiscence has closed up a LOT. small little loose stitches popping out everywhere... i kinda just pulled them out lol. (ugh my nails were so long )

11/12/13 photos. SEPTEMBER 19... ok so yea i didn't take any photos for a month. girl i got bored and i'm dilating 3 times a day give me a break. but this is how she's currently looking right now after 2 months, well september 23 will be 2 months but we're close enough. i have a bit of granulation going on. i've had a silver nitrate treatment and u hoes lied and said it just stung girl that stuff hurt but whatever. but i mean compared to the other month she's looking REALLLL CUTEEEE. obviously still swollen, and my freaking hair is coming back... so humbling. i just can't wait till i can get back to my laser hair removal, but atleast i was able to shave.

i went through the exact same path as your daughter, i just had my vaginoplasty around 7 weeks ago, i'm 18, also on blockers since 11, estrogen since 13. I had very little growth due to the blockers. i had peritoneal pull through vaginoplasty (mainly used with patients that lack a lot of resources) with Dr. Marci Bowers in California. she has had the most experience with trans women who have undergone pubertal suppression. i signed up to get my surgery ASAP! i went for a consult in january, got waitlisted, then a spot opened up and i got scheduled in july. it was truly the best decision in my opinion to go to her, i'm sure there are other doctors who are in the field now but dr. bowers was the easiest choice i made and i'm so glad i did.
