Destiny doesn't let anyone "own" him. He doesn't read (out loud) criticism from his Reddit, he doesn't acknowledge arguments against him on Twitter, and he gaslights his audience into thinking anyone making criticism of him doesn't have his fundamental understanding of the universe therefore they are wrong and retarded. The "dramatubers" (who?) are not all teenage incels, that generalization doesn't help in any way and only continues to mask their effective marketing of Destiny. His main orbiters (NotSoErudite, Pisco, IRI, Pondering Politics, Econoboi, Hutch, Dan Saltman, Aba, Vegan Gains, etc) are all adults with formed frontal cortexes choosing to side with a detached sociopath for the sake of clout. It's anti-social. They all get a sense of power and clout from the cult-like pyramid structure, so they go along with it. Pretty Discord roles go a long way on the internet. Perfect example of this is how salty Mr. Saltman got over losing his mod privilege's in DGG, as if that was his deserved clout for serving the gnome so loyally. He caused a drama nuke that saw Destiny's most loyal moderator outcast from the community, all over being able to delete snark directed at him in DGG. Pathetic display of manhood from an independently successful man in his 40s. Dan is arguably the worst person in DGG other than Destiny.
Turkey Tom is the only one who had the coconuts to outright say the block is too hot in DGG and denounced the community. Good for him, he will always have my respect. Especially because he is one of the younger orbiters and is super gen-z coded in his epistemology. He is also the only one who can afford the clout-loss from this, as he is independently successful. The worst part about the "orbiters" is they rely on the gnome for clout, so they go along with the cult. No one is allowed to regularly question and argue with Destiny without losing the favor of DGG, thus making you a pariah in his community.

I can agree with you here while still maintaining the respect for Tom that I have now. He's the only one that vocally admitted to wanting to step away from DGG, timed around the revenge porn leaks, no one else did this. That's worth something to me. As far as him making a video on the gnome's fuck ups, especially the revenge porn leaks, I can't see it happening. Destiny suffers more when his orbiters or collaborators shut off the tap and stop associating with him altogether, keeping Tiny in the video loops will just perpetuate his relevance. Tom did enough for me personally to disassociate him from DGG at this point.

i had a dream where I was watching Destiny and he accidentally started to leak shit again (he answered his phone and went to another room) - sex clips, pics, chat logs, everything. You can be a boring streamer and still be successful, just look at Forsen. Destiny has changed his opinion on if doxing should be illegal.
While his arguments are sound, it seems that Destiny made a critical error by skirting around the most important aspect of this issue. That being its fun.
I'm kidding about his arguments in this video being sound, idk what it is but it feels like when Tiny is sperging he has trouble actually recognizing any of the potential nuances and basic implications of an argument being made.
What we can summarize as Tiny's position here is that someone's personal information, e.g. addresses, names, travel routes, etc, should basically have its "distribution rights" be controlled or authorized if you will, by whoever the information is about. The intent of parties who potentially gain access to a person's dox is irrelevant insofar as to how this person can leverage what parties are allowed to distribute and what specific elements of a dox are allowed. Someone can also be legally charged if they are using someone's dox in the context of harassment (which i guess Destiny believes the legal system would be capable of defining).
It took him fucking twenty minutes of sperging and backpeddling for him to finally come to a real position after smugly jumping down Dan's throat over the perceived inadequacies of his arguments, despite Dan himself admitting to not having a fully fleshed out position. During the course of this argument, he first states that the intent is all that matters, if someone's dox is posted coupled with some type of harassment, they should be able to get charged, regardless if they are the main source of the dox or not. Dan then brings up whitepages and Destiny walks back his argument by adding that someone can legally compel their info to be unable to be requested publicly by a user of whitepages or sites similar to that.
Lets say that i believe someone is lying about their credentials online and i need their real name to prove this to others and myself. I then gain accesses to their name and then subsequently show that their public image and stated credentials contradict their actual private achievements. I would have to reveal the name publicly in this instance when making my case that this person is being mendacious about how credible they are. There's also the case of Hasan's house, if i used that info to show him being a hypocrite, and lets just assume hypothetically i was the original source of his address being doxed, would that be harassment? Threating someone or telling others to be a threat to someone is already illegal as Dan points out, so what is a example of something that falls under this specific qualification of harassment that isn't already just a threat? I say "lol" after linking to your address on whitepages???
I kind of wonder if he's changed his position literally because of the thread. If that's case then it would have to be over someone very specific being doxed or threatened to be doxed because i feel like at least more than 6 bpd whores that he's associated with have had their doxes plastered on the forum over the past 2 years lol.
