Destiny isn't just mad, he's in grieving. He's in grieving because he's realizing, on some level, that the democratic institutions that he's been defending nonstop for the past eight years are a load of crap. On a number of occasions, Destiny has been confronted by radical leftists with the Paradox of Tolerance as a criticism of liberal democracy. The Paradox of Tolerance, for those who don't know, is the idea that democracy is inherently flawed because popular anti-democratic movements can only be fought with anti-democratic means. This creates a contradiction- a democracy that sabotages and assassinates anti-democratic political candidates is itself engaging in anti-democracy. Monarchies and dictatorships don't have that problem, there is nothing inconsistent about an absolute monarch jailing people who threaten him.

When challenged on this paradox, Destiny's answer has always been that we need to "defend our institutions". As the last 72 hours have demonstrated, that answer isn't enough for Destiny anymore. He's realized that American democracy is going to die, and no matter what happens he's contributing to it. There's no way to save democracy because democracy, inherently, wants to commit suicide. He's realized the truth: that the answer to the Paradox of Tolerance is that there is no answer and you should just go with a different system. But he can't handle it. As Null has pointed out, this is the best possible system for a middle aged man-whore like Destiny. In any other society, more would be expected of him.

I find it almost impossible to believe that a degen who defends incest and pedophilia, not to mention almost carried out premeditated murder, has any principled views about democracy itself. Destiny defends the status quo as he perceives it from his bubble of experience. That status quo has allowed him to make piles of money from bullshitting on a camera, shag uncountable numbers of ewhores, and abandon his child. He will use any Wikipedia article at hand to defend those supply lines. That's where his convictions end.

It's especially revolting to hear him talk about "real Americans" and "betraying America." He has no conception of either.
