The principled stand would be that chemical weapons are immoral, and that you don't want to descend to their level of barbarism. That's understandable and righteous. But it will also lead to the Rape Dimension. The Rape Dimension is worse than chemical weapons, especially as the only people currently NOT being attacked by chemical weapons are the ones using them without any second thoughts. The principled stance in this instance will lead to the worst possible outcome.

There is an old Roman legal maxim that goes: "Let Justice by served, yet the heavens fall." To which John Stuart Mill replied "If the heavens fall, justice has not been served".

If anyone at Twitch is reading this, can you make an encrypted virt volume on your mac, mount it, and git clone the Go backend and cart that mount image off somewhere? Not that there's anything novel in the codebase, but it would make very quick work to templatize creating Twitch clones and work on the ActivityPub style decen of the existing platform.
