Stardust is one of the many people who has glazed him over the years and provided him cover for being a feminist. She's distanced herself over time not because she disavows him but because she doesn't do much content creation anymore.
Any orbiter who doesn't come out in explicit terms and burns the bridge is a house slave. This includes Lonerbox. He gives up his mentally ill girlfriend and gets Destiny's mentally ill audience in return, why would he speak out?
Even Straighterade was saying that people would lose sympathy for Pxie quickly because of how she is. She didn't even think her threats warranted calling her parents or doing a wellness check. Not that it's proof but no one thus far has said she's made attempts in the past which indicates that they think she's not a threat to herself. I don't think Pxie is not-not suicidal or mentally ill because people who are mentally ill threaten suicide to manipulate people. But on some level knows that she can get people to do something she wants if she tells them that she's going to off herself.
I think Straighterade screwed her over because Pxie is a bad friend, full of baggage, swinging between thinking of herself as a fem-destiny to being deeply depressed, and not really that bright. Straighterade said she's paying back $147 in installments, lol. Straighterade talked and leaked information because she was mothering her after everything that happened to her, which, as any decent human, she felt responsible for keeping her at least grounded. She probably needed the outlet and advice on what to do, which President Sunday at least gave.
If you didnt want straighterade to talk Pxie, don't make your problems, her problems.
If your friend keeps talking on and on about her suicidal ideation, something that realistically could have been prevented by simply not allowing him to record, it would have been so much better. Lets also be clear, she never ever did anything. It might be a bit mean, but I don't think other should have a job in keeping you alive, the only one would be Destiny who if she killed herself could be sued for (incitment) of manslaughter. If you want to kill yourself, if the anguish is that hard to bear, go ahead I'm not going to edge you on but I don't believe in giving an anime speech to talk people off, because then youll get a Pxie situation where every few days you have to give her a speech on how special and good she is. Destiny alludes that she's one of those bimbos that will do a 180 once you call the cops for a wellness check, I'm sorry but anyone on the brink of killing themselves is mentally not in a state where they can just do that.
I never believed Pxie was in serious harm of actually killing herself.
If you read the logs, she was 100% sipping the juice and believed Destiny would help her out. That he would get the bad hacker, and get the images and videos deleted. Then, Laura DeLaguna comes in and whispers in her ear about how she can make money, and boom, she starts ramping up the suicide threats. Laura is not bad, driven by spite sure, but that is a better route for Pxie than for Pxie to be kept on a string long enough for all of this to die down for most of his orbiters, dropping a bomb right now is the best option for her.
Honestly, I can understand Straighterade the most out of anyone. Why the heck should you be in charge of your clueless friend who put her foot in her mouth?
