The problem with e-celebs like Destiny is that both his biggest fans and his biggest haters are incentivized to make him seem like a super genius, and as such he has incorrectly gained a reputation as someone who has Original Ideas, is a Good Debater, and is someone Worth Listening To.
The truth of the matter is that he is a random carpet cleaner who got famous playing video games, and despite the best effort of everyone around him, he still refuses to grow up and take the topics he talks about seriously.
1. The reason he got scammed out of 5k for his canvasing event is because he paid someone who claimed to be a political consultant who had unique access to likely-dem voter lists in Georgia. In reality, the guy had nothing, and so Destiny and his fans stood around in a park handing out fliers. Then, when Destiny tried to join up with a local group, literally everyone rejected him except for one small local group. He then ended up trying to partner with Andrew Yang.
2. Destiny explicitly said the reason he wanted to boost Gudgel in Omaha was because he thought that Gudgel had no chance otherwise, and so he wanted to be able to prove how powerful his fanbase was. At no point did Destiny
EVER talk about what made him the best candidate for mayor, and at no point did he
EVER try and highlight what positions Gudgel took that was unique to him that Destiny really resonated with. It was an attempt to buy the mayoral race in his hometown and it failed
SPECTACULARILY.
3. Bridges was supposed to be the tool to bring Destiny into the mainstream in the runup to the election. The original premise of the show is that Destiny would be able to get on increasingly famous guests and have thought provoking conversations that made it into the mainstream. I think the most telling thing about the project is that there are
ZERO clips from the show that have any longevity. You have never seen even the biggest Destiny cocksuckers post any clips of any substance from his shows.
4. The Jan6 video and Israel video were both supposed to be projects that would offer unique insight that broke though to 'the other side' in only the way that Destiny could. Supposedly Destiny has spent thousands of dollars on paying people to make the videos, and then they never came out. In fact, the Israel video was supposed to prove how bad Hasan was covering in the Israel-Palestine conflict and show that Destiny was able to understand the issue so much better than anyone else. Since their announcement, zero proof-of-life for either video has ever surfaced.
I think the most notable thing about Destiny is that despite how everyone claims he is really smart, he has NEVER actually defended a position that he holds that is different from the status quo.
Fun fact: Destiny never actually took a position in the 2020 primary. He said he liked every candidate equally and he was waiting to see what the voters picked
