I theorized in the past that maybe its jon du toit, someone who's worked with Lauren in the past on documentaries, and is referenced fairly frequently in her media projects and social media. However, she always refers to him properly as "Jon" instead of "John" when she does reference him in written form. I still don't write him off entirely, however, since it's possible she doesn't do that in a informal setting like in the messages above.

I tried to go back for some of them years ago, as people in the thread didn't believe me that Nuancebro, at a certain point after the Better Discourse event, mentions how Lauren mysteriously disappeared for the rest of the night on him and Venti (because she went out drinking with Destiny, which is when he fell on the anthill).

Nuancebro just fits so perfectly. Also, Destiny had quite a positive opinion of Nuancebro after Venti, Lauren, Nuancebro and Tiny went shooting together. He went so far as to glaze him for like 20 minutes. However, mysteriously, after Lauren rejects him he suddenly has a deep dislike for him, constantly gets triggered whenever he reads his tweets, hmmmmmm.

In Farsi there is a common phrase to refer to a loved one, kinda like how we say "my dear" in English. There are two versions one is joon and one is jan. Kinda like informal, formal or man vs woman. In Farsi the "jan" version sounds exactly like john. So your theory could be spot on.
