"Stickers are the foundation of Society, like Crack. Without Stickers, You will Lose Your Shit" -Sun Tzu, Art of War

Stickers feel good, what can I say? Have you ever wondered why some of your posts get a shit ton of reactions, while others get scrolled past like those UN ads asking you to save starving African children? If you clicked this thread, you came to the right place. If you think this is dumb, feel free to leave a sticker below and leave, mongrel. 😠

There is a very specific meta to gaining stickers which I've learned from countless shitposts, serious posts, bad opinions and informative posts. It's a long read but I hope you'll find these tips and tricks helpful on your sticker journey.

1) QUALITY :winner:
Is your post worth reading or writing? That's really the first question you should ask before you post anything. Most people fail at this first step and squat down on their keyboards and let whatever thing dribble out of them, but you are human, not cattle! Remember the big 3s if you want lots of stickers: Emotion, Information and Novelty.

1.1) Emotion is the most reactive of the elements which will help users make the decision to give you stickers. Is your post amusing? 😆 Or are you seething with hatred and nigger-bombing? 🎩 Do you regret not having appreciated a loved one while they were still present? ❤️ Was that fever dream of you sticking up a Monster Inc. toy when you were 12 real?

The world is your oyster, so don't be afraid and let your emotions out, loud and ugly.

1.2) Informative stickers

have the highest value in reaction scores.
If your post has enough

stickers on them, you're likely going to have your post highlighted. Highlights generate whether the total sticker score of your post is higher relative to other posts. Highlights are usually the preferred method of exploring long/old threads, so it's an essential component of getting lots of exposure whenever the thread gets the spotlight. Informative posts usually carry insight or new information, but I am a retard so I just meta the shit out of it by summarizing happenings and saving everyone 50 pages of kiwi-grade poopoo.

1.3) Novelty is the surprise element that distinguishes popular posts from God-tier posts. Maybe a choose-your-own adventure in one single post? Or maybe gnostic level obscure truths like how the pitbull movement derives from a literal cult? Or a long-term art project based on the forums? Making unique posts has its risks but the rewards can be massive. Effort goes a long way to make your post appealing to react to.

2) POST PLACEMENT:optimistic:
The most important aspect of gaining stickers is how popular the thread you're posting in is. The number of stickers in a slow thread compared to the most active thread is night and day. Community Happenings is the most active and subsequently sticker-crack heaven. Though I wouldn't recommend posting in popular threads for stickers' sake, that isn't fun!

2.2) The top part of any thread page has the most exposure and thus most stickers since that's where the page will land once refreshed or loaded. Post #1 will have the most stickers following each new page, each page needs 20 posts to go to the next page. You can figure out the top most post by its number with the formula 1-20(n-1) where n stands for page number. In fast threads, you can try to time it so that your post will appear on the top portion of the page. This requires lots of experience to time it right. (Note: Being the first post in a page does not always pan out: mods can delete, merge or add posts which can disrupt the order and force you into the back of the bus like Rosa Parks, second or third post in the page is usually the safest)

2.2) The structure of forum reading necessitates scrolling down. So every post after the first trickles down exposure, especially for highlighted posts. You'd think that the next most exposed area is the middle, but that's not always true. The second most exposed area of any page is the bottom, that's where people usually stop to move to the next page. This rule only really applies to fast threads where people are likely to skim through hundreds of posts.

3) MANDATE OF HEAVEN :mutted:
If you followed the tips above and your post has been featured, sponsored or highlighted, congratulations! You are deemed by the heavens above to be funny, dumb or interesting enough to rule over the peasants who starve for sticker riches. Spit at them if you'd like. However, even without being featured, sponsored or highlighted, there are a certain "chosen people" who will receive lots of stickers for no good reason other than them being unique or some shit. If you can become or replace these people you are guaranteed sticker riches.

3.1) Null is the admin of the Kiwifarms and people are naturally curious as to what he is up. He is the most notorious user who sometimes bans people for no good fucking reason, haha, just joking. Anyway people really seem to like what he says because he's an e-celeb users can feel good agreeing with. He gets a shit ton of stickers for pretty much every innocuous post he makes even if it makes no sense whatsoever. I'll be honest I only post on the forums hoping to get that one exclusive sticker that can only be given by him.

3.2) Mods are a group of sweepers who clean up whatever jan jan duties are thrust on them, which includes warning a bunch of bitter men and women from encroaching on each other's digital territory. They have white tag that says Forum Staff or Global Moderator and it makes them look cool, so a bunch of low iq key-jangling-watching mongrels think it's their job to give them stickers. They sometimes make decent posts but I don't give them stickers out of principle.

3.3) True & Honest Fans are people who donate to the forums and receive a green tag or black/yellow tag. The green tags are usually one-time donors, black/yellow tags are monthly. The green one looks like aids but the black/yellow tag looks cool with the circle profile pic. I feel more obligated to give the yellow/black tags more stickers but it's only because the green tag look so bad in comparison.

Bro, can you space your text a bit? This huge block of text made me give me up like 3 sentences in. It looks like you also change the size of the text midway through.

Not sticker worthy for formatting issues.
Fixed, no idea why the text small.
Edit: DUDE
Code:
[SIZE=4] Default text size is not 15, don't be deceived[/SIZE]
IT LOOKS THE SAME AS THE DEFAULT SIZE IN THE TEXT EDITOR, FIX THIS SHIT

I assume this has been suggested, but I think a badge system would be better than the reaction score system. Everyone starts with a bronze kiwi,
1,000 points = silver kiwi / 5,000 points = platinum kiwi / 10,000 points = gold kiwi / 20,000 points = diamond kiwi / 50,000 points = godly kiwi
But if you get -100 points when you start with a bronze kiwi, you get a turd badge, -500 points = trashcan / -1,000 points = indian flag / -5,000 points = satanic symbol

Just an idea lol
