Lawrence Wright's 1995 book, Saints and Sinners, revealed that "Anton LaVey" was in reality Howard Levey -- a nerdy but clever Jewish guy from Chicago who'd built up a colorful -- and completely fictitious -- backstory for himself to fit his role as Black Pope of the Church of Satan. In the wake of that, many Satanists -- especially the crypto-Nazi types -- abandoned LaVeyan Satanism for more racially correct variations.

Hey, don't say LaVey never accomplished anything! He got a consultant's credit and got himself and his wife cameos (he even has a line of dialogue) in the movie The Devil's Rain, with such Hollywood luminaries as William Shatner, Ernest Borgnine, and an early-career showing by John Travolta. I mean, the only problem is that the movie is fucking awful -- it's about a centuries-old Satanic cult who melt... people... with rain -- but you know, it is a movie with all those guys in it. It's just that it sucks right out loud, and LaVey and his wife could accurately be described as "The Satanists Who Don't Do Anything" in this flick. I don't know why neither MST3K nor Rifftrax ever picked it up, but we could riff it on Movie Night... :optimistic::optimistic::optimistic: (Good fucking job using your Hollywood Jewish connections, (((LaVey))).)

Of course LeVey's a kike. I was talking about spiritual satanism, though. LeVey's satanism is atheistic. Theistic satanism like Joy of Satan are basically all alt-right lolcows that think jews are behind everything, and then usually I see some of those guys (like this guy) quit and suddenly say that now Joy of Satan is also run by jews. It's like the obscure opposite of tumblr/twitter sjws giving each other asspats until it's time to throw them under the bus.

Stop using morons on the internet as sources and as the basis for your opinions. Read a fucking newspaper or look through the Library of Congress. This shit isn't hard and the majority of it is free, most people are just lazy.
