I want to talk a bit about BCAA specifically.. Currently i'm taking 4
1 ratio and it makes me feel great, a lot more lucid in a way and bumps up mood and energy. I take it ~3 times a week.
But, while i am somewhat physically active, i'm still a good 20kg over weight and this has been so for a large part of my life. I read that it increases risk of diabetes in overweight/obese individuals. Anyone know, understand more about its interactions? I don't eat a lot of sugar, but carbs are in my diet.
Also general supplement thread?
Lions mane is also pretty good, but makes me a bit hyper focused with coffee.
5-htp, tryptophan, gaba help a lot for mood and relaxation as well, but tryptophan and 5-htp really fuck with my bowels.
