Too much story. He'd zone out after 1 minute then blame the game for having a bad story because he has a short attention span.
But jokes about synthisms aside the gameplay in MP1/2 still very much holds up so I imagine that he'd enjoy it.

I already spoke about this in the Dead Rising thread, but I actually made my own design draft on how I would make a remaster of Dead Rising 1, complete with next gen features like being able to explore all of Willamette and not just the mall, adding in new mechanics and QoL changes from later games, more content ect.
Do you want to guess what my very first addition was to that document? This would even play into the new Wider Willamette sections: as the mall would feel a bit cramped now thanks to being able to explore it so quickly, it would encourage players to explore the outside area(available after Convicts appear for the first time, they made a huge hole thru the parking lot wall that you can use to leave the mall). All story related events would still happen in the mall and none of the story would actually change, but time would move only half as fast to compensate for longer traveling distances and to let you do additional content. Of course, intense story related cases like grabbing medkit for Brad or defusing bombs would have just about the same time limit all the same, just to keep the same level of tension.

If a random nobody like me can think this up, so can Capcom. We have the technology now, only reason they didn't do this for a "Deluxe Remaster" is because Capcom are lazy niggers that outsourced this game to China. Don't tell me this is for balancing reasons either when everything has been made easier, yellow paint, intrusive UI messages and other new visual markers are present to guide stupid players where they need to go, and there is literal cheat books just scattered all over the mall now. I'm looking forward to viewing that video, something tells me it won't make Capcom fanboys very happy.

BTW, I wonder if Larry knows he has a cameo appearance in Dead Rising 3 as a story related character, lol
