Team Fortress 2 Community - A free-to-play dress up game for grownups, gameplay fully automated! Waiting to be mercy killed...

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
When I see this, it tells me the person was more concerned about putting themselves forward rather than this thing they're actually supporting. That and how this is like something uploaded in 2009 if you removed the Twitter screenshots.
because it's either grifting or a redditor that wants updoots for being part of this, expect other shitty sfm animators to come out of the woodwork so they can get some more clout out of this entire thing.

also thinking about it, the only widely spread hashtags to this game are related to this pussyfooting, and the parading of Rick May's death, it's a pretty depressing thought.

I am going to sound so schizophrenic when i say this but i always felt like the whole 'bot problem' was started by some community server owner. I don't know, like every source game had some sorta cheating problem (from cs:go to tf2), but it wasn't to this degree. Why did i think that the community server owners are behind it? They have most to gain with this whole situation they fill slots on servers that they can make money from (ads or thoes faggot ass VIP packs)
Community servers don't really make money, if it all then it's just enough to cover hosting costs. Hosting bots would just further drain their balance. I do think the niggerkiller botnet was tranny made though, additionally coordinated with journos for the hit pieces to introduce censorship into the game. Notice how there aren't any racist bots anymore after the restrictions? Yet there's still lots of bots spamming chat and voice with random garbage. Goal was accomplished, no need to do so anymore. Now they're so many bots, because the reddit faggots keep crying about it and making whole movements further feeding cheaters' need for attention.

They're playing on community servers just fine. Except for TF2.
I agree with @Patrick Bait-man that the 2016 update is what killed community servers. They were fantastic before then.

If this is replacing TF2 I'm going to be MATI. Also a lot of niggers in it
Christ, this really is just an incredibly generic modern hero shooter. The damage all of these weapons and abilities do is ridiculously low.
We've even got a thread for it already: Deadlock - new game by Valve

To clarify, it won't replace TF2 like CS2 removed CS:GO in order for the game to get a higher player count, they will just ignore TF2. No more cases and updates. You can cope and seethe for a while, be MATI, but eventually you have to accept the following fact: Team Fortress 2 is abandonware, just be happy that it's Valve and not EA/Ubisoft so that you can at least play community on servers.

At least you got the 64-bit version in the end.
I hate this timeline

I only ever played on community servers. Always had a lot of fun. I haven't played in years, and I don't think that will change any time soon.
For someone that never experienced community servers pre MYM i am glad to have been enjoyed what it KIND of was, in a way there's one community server i commonly play on on a sourcemod known as pre fortress, ultra nailgun world. It is really fun, there's not that many players but the old community maps together with the shitty microphones really make me feel like i experienced atleast a chunk of it, i recommend you all to play the mod instead of normal tf2. No weapons or cosmetics but still a relatively active community, theres a website you can check it out maybe https://www.nailgunworld.com

I wanted to see what fresh autism was cooking on the TF2 side of Youtube and I came across a "TF2 analysis".

There is no analysis, there's a pony in the thumbnail. It's animated MLP roleplay on TF2 maps that's been going on for 9 years now (this episode is just 5 days old). The guy behind it is some normal-looking married accountant, pretty bizarre.

I know there's a high concentration of furries in the TF2 community, but you really got to get better branding if you want anyone to take this movement seriously.

Well shit, at first I wanted to say that this is some old school autism on the display here, but then I saw the channel name and now I have this fractured memory about this guy, he became a part of a huge drama some time ago because he would give attention to some grade "A" sperg, a complete mental wreck neanderthal who would pester this Drwolf guy for attention, validation and sympathy points while getting more and more unhinged, but for some reason I can't quite remember that autist's name.

I haven't even watched the video yet and the thumbnail here screams 2010s autism

The Bronies who have stuck around long after the show their entire identity was centered around ended are the most peculiar and strange. Guess a few of the TF2 ones still exist.

Zesty has uploaded a follow-up to his Nobody Home video, using a small sample of 1,400 or so giftapaults.
tl;dr: From his sample, 71%, or 996 were bots, or most likely to be so. He has a whole github about the steam user names he collected.
and i keep being right about traders being an absolute blight, these cunts are truly a match made in heaven with valve.
