Zombie Infection, at least the version Valve deploys on their official servers, has been hit by the 64-bit update breakage. Upon joining a server, there's a good chance you won't be able to at all. You will be stuck in "spectate", as the script seems to not be able to assign you to the spectator team or prevents the game from doing so. You can use the "spectate" console command to unfuck things or you can float around as a ghost that everyone can see. An A-posing zombie Scout mesh that gets added on top of the regular Scout model gets attached to your spectator camera and this is visible to everybody. You can be a spooky spectator following people around and they'll know you're there. The servers crash at the very end too, that'll be fun once the contracts start working.

I've been getting back into TF2 with the Halloween contracts, it is a shame how fundamentally broken this game can be sometimes played a round of the new zombie infection map thinking I was getting contract points, just to find out that none of it was counting.

I really love this game, but the community can be very strange and gross. I tend to find myself playing medic, I have a personal rule if we don't have a medic I'll have to play medic. But I'm hesitant to heal people like "Girlcock Connoisseur" or "Cum Wizard", I'd rather let them get fragged. But at least it was fun today watching a player called Nigel Farage (Right wing politician from the UK) riddle Girlcock Connoisseur with bullets as heavy.

The reset if you leave early sounds good on paper, but it really fails to account for the fact you can get kicked for BS reasons, and even more importantly it fails to account for 2fort, it sucks having a 2fort contract that demands you finish a round on the games biggest stalemate, it took me like 10 minutes to fill the contract and an hour to get to the end of the round.

It should ideally finish the contract after 10 or 20 minutes of additional play or if you're kicked.

The patch notes say the ZI map bug I mentioned before was fixed, but the join in progress is still broken. Except it's not just on ZI maps, but also on the new tug-of-war map Dynamite and the older arena Graveyard. Shitty VScript hacks are probably to blame.

Yeah, Blazehattan's contract is completely broken. Outburst's bonuses also don't work, but the contract magically completes itself on its own after a couple of rounds. Those two may be related, in a Valve code spaghetti kind of way, considering the latter unlocks the former.

The amount of gay shit in the game is horrific. It's not even funny, as the time of homo jokes being edgy was about 20 years ago now, just sad and disgusting as you repeatedly get exposed to the groomers and the groomed.

Is that the Saxton Hale one? that one is hilariously broken. Went in with the flame thrower and it insta-completed because it counts each tick of damage as 1000 damage. Probably something to do with the fact it doesn't track Saxton Hale damage like it tracks normal damage done.
