Feedback Technical Grievances

Hotlinking goes through a proxy so you're just adding another point of failure. Quit your bitching nigger.
That reminds me, sometimes attachments end up trying to go through the proxy because somewhere, something thinks it's a third-party image because the host is different (e.g. kiwifarms.ru vs kiwifarms.net, or the .onion vs kiwifarms.net). And for some reason, the proxy fails and just displays a broken image.

Example:
1658241679348.png
(as seen here: https://kiwifarms.ru/threads/jack-scalfani-cooking-with-jack.13468/post-12466745)

Any possibility of a fix? Seems like possible fixes include either having the image linked directly, or making the proxy still work in this situation, or having the image pulled from the first-party site instead of the third-party site (i.e. the host that matches the page's URL).

Yes, when you use the highlight feature to add an image to the replybox it no longer previews via the proxy. You can avoid this by never using the img tag and by not including images in your reply.

I am not fixing anything on XenForo anymore.

Btw, somehow little boys and girls are getting it. Really a mystery.
I asked about this in the happenings thread, One theory is that just before, during, or after a out break with the rash and pustules transmission can happen, it your changing diapers or handling a child.

However it can also be transmitted in semen so if you get semen on you.....god its fucking depressing.

no reason given; fuck you.
eBay is ridiculous. I had an account in good standing with hundreds of positive feedback points for over 15 years and when one day made the mistake of logging in to shop while I had my VPN on. My account was immediately banned and they won't give it back to me unless I give them my phone number and a photograph of my ID.

Needless to say I don't have an eBay account anymore. If I do shop there, I do it as a guest account which limits you to "buy it now" items.
