On his rant then he mentioned he disabled alerts for stickers. He probably should remove the option or gray it out so people know it's disabled.

I am an attention diabetic. I need to monitor the levels of attention I get or I will die. Hiding the sticker count endangers my life.
When I stop logging in know that Null killed me. Add a number to the kill count.

I use the notifications to remember what I posted, see how much action an unwatched thread is getting, and gauge when a thread is disagreeing with me. They're more useful than Null gives them credit for. The complainers are way louder than the people who are quietly content with the system.
I know there's retarded sticker autists that cause headaches, but there is such a thing as too little dopamine. Killing engagement mechanisms rarely works out well, just ask Andrew Torba.
On a related note, let use move, collapse, or hide the watched threads list. It's not useful at top of page, thread watching is most useful for threads that don't get a lot of action.

Am I right, that sticker-alerts being switched off, has also killed alerts for 'watched' threads?
Personally, I liked getting both kinds of alerts (idc about the number disappearing, but alerts let you know which threads you'd posted in are active, or not). But the "watched" feature especially, is basically non-extistant without alerts.
Not trying to be demanding, but my suggestion would be, leave the "scorecount" hidden, but bring back alerts.

My alerts for watched threads have been working fine all day.

Ok. Guess it must be just be the threads I'm watching? I still haven't got a single watched-thread alert, since sticker-alerts are gone.

Yeah, they get stuck sometimes. Read all the threads in https://kiwifarmsaaf4t2h7gc3dfc5ojhmqruw2nit3uejrpiagrxeuxiyxcyd.onion/watched/threads to the end and they should come back. The ones with the filled in circle have unreads, that's generally how you should use the site.

I hope he doesn't remove it as an option. I like using the sticker alerts as an impromptu way to automatically watch a thread, especially ones that are shorter lived, like in A&H.

I don't know why, but for some reason the BMJ thread (https://kiwifarms.st/threads/austin-curtis-peterson-austin_07-bossmanjack-irondollah.170347/) doesn't show in the "watched" box on the homepage. Every other thread does, tried unwatching -> watching and it shows correctly here https://kiwifarms.st/watched/threads
Might be a bug? Does it work for other people? Have tried all the usual stuff too, force refreshing etc.

I've figured it out. It's because i've a user ignored and they're the most recent commenter. Another thread got "hidden" and they're posted there most recently too.

I wish the reaction score and react notifications could both be restored as something you can opt into: A toggle to hide/reveal your score on your profile (like how bluechecks on Twitter can hide their bluecheck, even though they usually do stupid things to reveal themselves as paid users anyway), opt in to react notifications but have them off by default.
