Are the 'True and Honest Fan' banners broken for anyone else?

It scrolls bottom-left to top-right and seems to crash the page after a few minutes (edit: can't be sure it's the cause of the crashes). Using Chrome 53.0.2785.143, Windows 10. After a few seconds it looks like:

That is absolutely not something that CSS should be capable of creating by itself. I wouldn't be surprised if you had some sort of video driver issue.
 
Looks like the kind of thing you'd see with a mobile device or other odd display.
 
Yeah, just noticed it on another site too, and neither here nor there was doing it yesterday. Ignore all that.

Edit: the only feature the two 'scrolling' things have in common is an ampersand, it seems. Reinstalling Chrome did nothing.

Final edit: I'm expectional. It was a shitty emoji chrome extension causing all this. Problem solved.

I wrote my own chat mod and it's really unfinished but it's working better than the old one in the primary purpose of sending and receiving messages without crashing your entire browser. It's missing a lot of shit I really want to add but I cannot psychologically handle tab lockups anymore so it's going out now.

Vote on what things you want back ASAP. If I forgot a feature that got lost, let me know.

Report bugs here, or PM me if it's urgent and can be exploited.

Known Bugs:
  • Messages that are undeleted are pushed as new posts.
  • Scroll lock is finnicky on mobile because the scroll down tends to "bounce" for some reason. Needs lock buffer.
  • Expanding thumbnails in fullscreen at the bottom of the list can cause them to expand downwards off the screen.
  • Autovalidation errors are really really obnoxious.
  • Fullscreen link-hovers cause browser to obfuscate input with context hint.
  • Recent post notices are considered chat activity in regards to active users.

Bug: if you attempt to send a blank message it gives both a pop-up error and error text under the text entry box. This pushes the text entry up and covers roughly a line and a half of chat. This is on Chrome for Android.
 
I actually never experienced any of these bugs, maybe I'm just lucky.

But chat is still chat; I come for the people. Glad that hasn't changed.
 
I revealed that flood control was now gone and this immediately happened.

When you get around to re-introducing file uploads, would it be possible to make the maximum size a little larger?
