Feedback Technical Grievances

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I don't know if something has changed recently with the theme updates or it's just me, but lately I haven't been able to use the WYSIWYG editor tools, they are grayed out for me.

Using the latest version of Firefox. Attempted turning off content blocking tools. Sorry if it's already been mentioned.
This was happening to me, click the brackets that are still colored in.

Was having the problem before the update, finally got around to trying to fix it after the update when I was still seeing issues so I figured it was on my end.

I can't for the life of me get the content on this page to load:

Is it due to the amount of embedded content on the page? It's only an issue on that page specifically.

I can't upload any pictures onto the .st domain over the Tor mobile app. They come out a solid color. Unsure why. Uploads work just fine over the Windows Tor browser.

tor breaks canvas.
i don't know what changed. i don't know why. i am not going out of my way to fix that.
Look at that, if you remember my post back there, where it suddenly demands to turn off canvas fingerprint-protection in order to upload images (when this was not a problem before on Kiwifarms), can be solved by converting yourself the image into webp format.

So this is an image I was able to upload on Tor without turning the protection off, but simply by converting the png to webp, in a site like this:
https://convertio.co/png-webp/
test_test.webp

So this recent canvas issue must be due to the webp optimization process.

I had a post where I called sseth a gay faggot which was recently yeeted which I only noticed because I went to check on it, I think the mod noficiation thingy saying 'your post sucks kill yourself' is broken or something

After maintenance, it appears that some user profiles are unavailable. Opened this guy in a new tab to have a new tab of the website, and I can't view his page at all. Checked privacy settings, and it doesn't seem that there's a privacy option to do this, so it seems to be some sort of issue.

Profile privacy was deliberately broken more than 10 years ago, and I have deliberately broken it every time it unbroke. Today, I restored it. You can now control who can see or post on your profile.

Is that the "view your details on your profile page" option? Thought that was always there and just referred to some more specific stuff, but I guess I haven't checked this panel in a while.
