On the stealth theme, thumbnail images aren't supposed to load, right, unless you tap the url to load them?

It appears that viewing a post through a quote, reply, or embedding via url causes this behavior to break and load the images.

To reproduce, try viewing a thread in stealth which contains images, then view the thread again through a reply, quote or embedding, or reply, quote or embed the post yourself. This causes the images to load, and on future viewings of that post, images will be displayed (probably because they're in cache).

First time bug reporting hope this is helpful and not garbage

Edit 2: I have no idea what causes images to load or not on the stealth theme. 50/50 in crabshack, 100% not loading without click in some threads, and 100% loading in other threads.

Something is going on where assets from uploads.kiwifarms.net are loading as empty (0 bytes). This seems to happen intermittently, so that PFPs, images, and videos fail to display. After a while, it starts working again. Hence reloading them at that point will show them.

Only seeing this in clearnet. Everything works in Tor.
 
Are moderators/admins/anybody able to see the edit history on edited posts?

Scripts randomly fail to load (thumbnails stop lazyloading, the alert dropdown no longer pops up and just throws me to the full page instead) unless I do a hard refresh, which makes things function fine for a few page loads. Started happening sometime during this week.
 
One suggestion/request for the sponsored bits (which I like, there's fucking tons of stuff on this site I've never seen)
Can clicking on one default to opening it in a new tab please? It's annoying to have to go back to where I was and redo right click.
I'd also like to second the suggestion of the sponsor writing a blurb rather than the link being whatever is at the top of the linked post. Makes it more personal.

Thumbnails should work as normal on "Stealth". The reason it is temperamental and usually just showing the attachment filename is due to the website shitting and pissing itself to death when serving the image and returning 0 bytes. Firefox is caching the broken image for me and I have to hard refresh the page to have anything load.

It's a dice roll whether it actually happens. A gamble if you will....

can confirm, the site slowly starts to break down until you have to unload all tabs/clear cache.

502 Bad Gateway error

Mullvad VPN, Tor-Brave, Mint OS.

Been happening for about a week now at random times of day. Latest occurrence was 5pm EST today and lasted ~15-20 minutes. (Each spell lasts for 15-30 minutes.) Happens about once per day, usually around five in the morning EST, so I initially presumed site maintenance or upgrades to the forums defences.

Having this problem too, in Firefox. Clearing cache and unloading tabs gives me the reply box (and ratings besides "like") back, but images are just a url.
 
Surprisingly not having the recently mentioned issues (yet) but I have run into a weird thing where I now have to like a post before changing the rating to something else. I don't know if that's an intentional change or just a weird fuckery of the site's current status but it's odd.

EDIT: ah, now I can only like half the time .RIP my ability to nice meme for this span.

I swear I had the exact same issue a week or two ago, but it just fixed itself after I refreshed/restarted the browser...

Edit: It only happened that one time and I could not replicate it since.
 
Problem: Content is dry while Bossman is locked up. I want to go back and relive some of the big run-ups and crash outs, but there's no easy way to find those in the thread. The thread is too large and there aren't many manual highlights.

Solution: Implement a posts-per-day graph for every thread. I'm imagining something similar to the graph that Archive.org has for "times a website has been saved." You can even be fancy and add purple or green sections of each bar to indicate a post that has been highlighted.

Clicking on one of those lines would take a user to the first post of that day. This would allow users to easily see "the thread popped off on [date], must have been some good content." More good content will be postmarked as users use this to find more content, meaning more purple and green bar graph sections will show up on the graph, creating a loop of making a thread easier to navigate.

It could look something like this (excuse my photoshop skills):
