The Awful Fursuit Thread - Viewer beware, you're in for a scare!

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I posted this in the tracking-and-hunting-furries thread recently about an archive of old "rare and obscure" furry stuff, including music, art, games, literature, all that jazz....some of which is zoophilic in nature (I'm scarred for life). But anyway, it also archives a ton of old fursuit murrsuit pics from the 2000s and earlier. I posted a few over in that other thread but didn't even think to post the pics here. Enjoy and apologies in advance.

Not 100% sure this is the right spot. But I found this whilst scrolling my boomerbook and almost spat out my tea.

For context for non-brits (even if it's obvious as fuck), "This Morning" is a long running weekly morning TV show running from like 7/8am until 11am (or there abouts, last time I watched TV was a decade ago), usually it's what you expect, lots of fluff pieces to wake up your nan as she goes about her day so she can get a new recipe or hear about some wholesome nonsense. If anyone remembers Katie Hopkins she famously had an interview years back on This Morning where she said "I hate people who call their children after Geographical locations like Boston or Jersey" and the host retorted "Your child is called India..."

Anyhow, spotted this via my recommended;

the thing is, when you see this stuff on "real" tv, it's usually played up
best case scenario he actually does this in his real life but they had him greatly overexaggerate the whole thing, at worst sometimes shit is just straight up made up

So with my experience with Good Morning, they tend to source this shit from the media at large, visa vi, this guy was likely well known for it in his area so it got picked up by local papers and he got to TV that way. I'm not doubting it's a little played up but also this country has a fascination with the eccentric, I mean we literally had the Somerset Gimp man and that was a huge thing until he was caught.
I am tempted to look for a clip of this show to see what this whole "She's my ex, but now we do this" thing is about, since I've also seen that be a common throughline in some of these stories, like their obsession trashed the relationship but after they were friends and the ex enabled it. Might just be because it makes the story funnier for the public.
