The DR is failing simply because most of its "leaders" are low IQ, mentally ill resentful idiots that have no plan, no coherence, no policies.

One important component is the Internet, which has made it VERY easy to deconstruct the often pompous, self-righteous personalities of shitheads like Anglin, and expose how degenerate they are.
In the past, almost nobody found out about how degenerate and deviant these right wingers were in time, so they were able to construct these mythological images, bigger than life, so it was easier to gain the adoration of the normies.
It will take a miracle to have a real right wing regime now considering the circumstances. You'd need some very charismatic, fit, discreet, drama rejecting, policy driven high IQ dude. In 2023 that would be like Jesus returning or something.
Always keep in mind - the real right wants to control society and impose social norms.

Glenn's ideology is a bit hard to pin down. He is definitely an American isolationist, even in case of Israel, even though he's Jewish. He's a very consistent critic of the "security state" and any overseas American intervention. He seems to have completely abandoned economic policies, they're on full ignore. Socially he's a progressive that presents an indifferent face, because he has to maintain his "populist" right supporters, but he knows very well that he can only exist in a progressive society that allows homosexuality. He simply doesn't want the homo to be his main identity.
He's also consistently pro free speech, even as a principle.
I'd prefer him over Elon any day, even as a homosexual Jew. He's far less spergy and retarded, and seems to be able to control his emotions better.
