There's no actual fix for this. There's a Band-aid for an arterial spurt. The 4GB patch makes the executable Large Address Aware, meaning you can use 4GB instead of 3GB like it previously could. It doesn't magically make the executable capable of going past that. It will crash eventually. And mods make it worse because they use memory, and not fairy dust, to stay resident.
Then there's the 60fps issue. It's partially addressed by hacks, but not completely. Anything above 60fps (especially if you go above 120) has retarded consequences.
>well, just play at 60, then!
But I don't want to. This isn't 2006. I'm not on a 60Hz LCD anymore.
good luck trying to convince this shit skinned jeet anything when he’s convinced the source engine is identical to UE5 because you can port assets

Elder Scrolls 6 is going to be shit. Remember that Bethesda's entire philosophy is "streamlining" ie: dumbing down each new entry of a series they release. Expect Elder Scrolls 6 to have less depth than StarField somehow.

If they acted like sensible people in the first place I wouldn't call them niggercattle. You think people call blacks niggers because they're well educated? Fine example you set for your kind, boy.
>treating every active decision in their lives as an activism moment
Not being retarded is activism? Gee whiz. If anything niggercattle treat every moment like an "activism moment" more than anyone else.

>Endless sperging and mental gymnastics to justify spending $50+ on an inferior-in-every-way copy of a game they probably never played to begin with
May Allah forgive me for using this accursed meme. Remember this moment when you shit on someone else for liking what you don't like (because you're lying if you said you never judged someone based off their interests before), but people without standards tend to not believe in anything they say either.
Hey, it's not my problem. I'm still sitting pretty with my fiddy bucks safe and cozy in my wallet. I'm speaking from the perspective of somebody who has experience, who nearly pulled his hair out arguing with people who thought a shitty Star Wars movie made by a real life lego person was a masterpiece; the niggerfaggot approach doesn't work, it just makes them more niggerfaggoty. If you don't care that's all well and good, but remember this when you next complain about the sorry state of Current Thing.

Fallout 4 has this issue too. If you want to play these games over 60FPS, you're SOL period since Bethesda tied physics to frame rate.
If some random coomer was able to have his game run like in his video, you should be able to do the same. If you're running 4K textures on everything, you deserve what you get and should have 60$ taken from your wallet by Todd, graphic fags are the worst. Everybody else should not have a problem approaching anywhere near 4GB limit with most modlists.

You need to take the Remaster and mod it back to looking like the original game.
I'm overall fine with the visual changes. Some characters are ghoulish, but it really looks like I remember it looking when I played it for the first time.

There's no 4K textures in Oblivion without mods, and I rarely mod games because that makes it something else.
You keep harping on the $60 (with the dollar sign in the third world order). It's $50 in the real world, and I only pay 6% sales tax ($52.99 total).
All you're doing by arguing against turning up details and the price of games is showing that you're poor and angry.

look unless you live in fucking cuba, finding a 60hz lcd monitor is really, really fucking hard.
i only got my 45hz one because it can turn 180 degrees but even then it's dying already and all the options i am seeing are 120hz minimum which sucks because it means i have to upgrade, can't even find the shitty 2nd monitor i have where you connect via USB+VGA, shits grim.

To be fair, Fallout 4 got London and it still has massive projects on the way, like Miami and Cascadia. Problem with this game in particular is that the engine simply cannot handle what the modders have in mind. Take it from someone who modded London, you can't even mod the game properly without doing some ass-backwards exploits with the GECK since the the mod introduces too much assets for the program to load. You have to quite literally lobotomize the initial Fallout 4 install so that everything loads properly, obviously you have to keep the original Fallout 4 ESM on hand as well when you actually want to play, and it's just a mess. I spoke with one of the Miami leads and they're having the same problem, likely why work on it is going so slowly, I assume every other major Fallout 4 overhaul project has the same problem, without workarounds/exploits/new software it is impossible to take Fallout 4 modding any further.
Starfield, on the other hand, is a piece of shit, and modding becoming an even bigger pain the ass all but ensures it will never get projects of this autistic scope made for it.
Fallout 4 can barely handle itself let alone mods. The NG "update" made the problem worse. The save files start shitting themselves once they become about 30mb or something. It's surprisingly easy to do that.

Back in the 2000s, 60Hz was pretty much as good as it got for a while. I had one of the best available, some Dell 24" IPS that did 1920x1200, and it was stuck there.

I complain for my and potentially others entertainment, in what universe did calling people names make them hold anything but animosity towards you, openly or behind close doors? I do want people to not be niggercattle, but I'm not going to out of my way to change a handful of people's minds because of how futile it is. Seeing numbnuts, to somewhat quote one specific sperg, "blow their top" is some of the funniest shit imaginable. I will continue to make them seeth, and it will be hilarious.

Thru a mod, yes. Straight out of the box? No
Also, keep in mind that the Next Gen update, which most people will blindly play unless they know how to downgrade their games, introduced a whole bunch of bugs and engine issues, if I recall correctly breaking FPS cap to crash the game might have been it. If not, then maybe it was some other setting that had to do with debris, I would have to check. Point is that these games aren't made for 60FPS, it's something that autists force the game to do.

I posted a video of a 2006 game having better combat thru mods than the 2025 demaster. You made a case that most people can't install the mod because their computers will crash. How, I do not know, since the only way to realistically use up more than 4GB of RAM on these old Bethesda titles is having big texture mods. My copy of New Vegas runs on a similar engine to Oblivion and I run a mod that spawns dozens of NPCs fighting one another. The most I ever saw was over 80 in one location, in a game that has uGridsToLoad set to 7 and LOD settings maxed. For reference, vanilla game supports 5, this means I had more of the map loaded in than I was supposed to, mods running in the background and several dozens NPCs fighting one another. My game's FPS started to tank after a while, but it didn't crash. New Vegas similarly can only support 4GBs of memory.
I have no clue what you would have to run in order to actually crash your game due to memory issues unless you're running a vanilla game without third party script extenders and forks. Point is, installing a mod that lets you dodge and offer very basic melee maneuvers that the demaster for Oblivion SHOULD have brought over won't be a problem for most people. You're coping that some random nobody coomer has a better build of Oblivion than you get out of the official studio that made the game, be it 50$ or 60$ of 70$ or whatever they decide to charge for it. It should be 20$ max and free for any Oblivion owner on Steam with how shitty it is.

*Sucks Teeth* Sheeit N'wah you think I actually paid for that game I torrented that shit and then deleted it after it crashed after I exited the prison area.
Oh shit I remember you mentioned that, never mind my brother in Dagoth.

instead of 3GB like it previously could.
It actually could only handle 2GB, realistically only 1.8 since it usually crashes before reaching the theoretical maximum. There's a bunch of other mods that purge cells and fix engine bugs that make it even more stable and efficient.

What this means in practice is that on a heavily modded playthrough you will need to restart the game every 4 hours or so or get a CTD. This may be inconvenient if you're planning a 12 hour, uninterrupted Oblivion session, but interrupting your gameplay for 20 seconds every now and then definitely doesn't make the game "unplayable". I get that arguing with this nigger is mind-numbing, but we don't need to act like modding or even just playing Oblivion is somehow impossible because it's a 32bit application. At this point this is just a graphics argument. If graphics are that important to you, you will not be able to make OG Oblivion as pretty as the remaster is.

There's no 4K textures in Oblivion without mods, and I rarely mod games because that makes it something else.
I do not understand what you mean, because this remaster is basically a graphics mod of the original game that literally makes it "something else" in a more drastic way, with a few gameplay fixes baked in.

I can't imagine playing vanilla Oblivion "the way it was intended", I'd rather have a CTD every 4 hours.

For Fallout 4 Modding just start with The Midnight Ride as a base. The save file is an issue, luckily Fallout 4 is so boring most people give up on the game before the save file reaches 30mb. Deleting old saves helps with that problem too.

If not, then maybe it was some other setting that had to do with debris,
The crashing is caused by Weapon Debris which has a fix.

Big love you always know I down to represent the sixth house I was just out here trying to spit some facts to these little N'wahs though I guess they have to learn the hard way. Anyway I finally figured out that the distance terrain mod was breaking everything so I am going back to the motherland.
