I know they were running Xenforo sploits against it, but based on what I saw them claiming, it's old shit that isn't going to work.
My self-hating side is curious to see the weblogs to see what other kinds of shit they are trying.
Believe it or not, this is actually GOOD for Kiwifarms. Having people pen test your stuff is expensive.
This was totally free, and ultimately as with most attacks, forces re-hardening of the systems.
The google scripts on this site are killing perf but it's tolerable.
Hopefully this place has been archived and anonymized.
Hopefully Josh can work with Lim to build that guys business up, and maybe Josh picks up a few tips and builds out his own DDoS racks as backups.
It's all $$. Run a campaign, put the costs for the equipment and powerusage, and start the bitcoin campaign with updates on fund goals.

The Farms has been loading increasingly slower and slower for me. On the other hand, I made a thing to commemorate the occasion. I'd post it of course but I can't even get past 23% 37% uploaded. I've tried for about 20 minutes.
I'll describe it for you and you can use your imagination:
It's that old J. Jacques comic where a tranny takes off his clothes to have sex with his boyfriend. The boyfriend sees his partner's penis for the first time sparking a scowl from the boyfriend. After a moment, the boyfriend changes his tune and, says "You're beautiful" to the tranny sex fiend, and then it's assumed he takes the tranny dick up his ass.
I've changed the last two panels however. The boyfriend tells his tranny partner "Kill yourself tranny faggot" in panel 5 while in panel 6, the boyfriend lays in bed with his pants partially down smiling at the nude tranny suspended by a noose above him. My interpretation of the final panel is that the boyfriend is going to masturbate because convincing troons to join the 42% club gets him off.
The changes were made with Microsoft paint and I genuinely tried to make it somewhat higher quality than your generic cut and paste shitpost. Maybe I'll get to share it one day if the issues are ever resolved.

Considering we're dealing with people who can't take a joke, having the domain under the control of a jokester again is a huge improvement in my mind.

The registration was moved to Epik, almost certainly Null's doing as it's one of the 'EVIL FREE SPEECH' registrars with a list of hate sites like Gab and Parler.

They're going to start moving back to using the lists of accounts they've been taking over to send out fed posts during Null's off hours threatening people, and calling in swats and per template mentioning they are Kiwifarms users (with the compromised account names). This of course will make headlines, 15 minutes after it happens and before the police even report it somehow.
This will of course activate the already weaponized fed, who are going to say they need the servers as a matter of national security, even though they know what's actually happening, but they don't GAF because who stops the law from itself?
I know they'll do it, because it's what I would do if I knew LE had my back, and it's working. I just happen to like free speech more, which is not what the feds like.
They like leverage, and power, and free speech is in direct conflict with those goals.
Josh should lock all old accounts that recently logged in and never posted (assuming there are logs). I hope he considers it.
He should also publicly call out what the anticipated next move is by the government so it is archived.

In the short time I've come here and found a place i enjoy and want it to continue. LoL at the Ebil Haxors who want info to be free siding with mainstream liberals and big corporations to take down a free speech forum that archives dangerous info and exposes secrets. Like MTG and Hotwheels, countless former edgelords just continue to reveal what fakes and sellouts they are.
