The General Thread

Church was great today! I got to chat with some other college kids that I didn't know, and some that I did know. The sermon was also fantastic and has left me with things to think about. I've been slacking on reading the Bible recently, but I will change that habit. I hope you are able to attend church in some form, Null. I pray your spiritual journey and relationship with Christ is growing stronger.

The rains came yesterday and cooled everything right down so today I woke up early and sanded and painted my front door. It didn’t really have to be done but I wanted to do it and now it’s done and I got stoned and now I actually get to enjoy watching paint dry because I’m the one who actually did it.

Not too shabby.

It's like 90 degrees out over here and yesterday it was pushing 100. Might be normal for Florida around this time of year but it sure as hell isn't normal here. Kinda glad I'm not working today because this East Coast humidity makes me wanna neck myself. I'm glad I went out and got groceries on Friday too.

Thanks for checking in, Nool. xoxoxoxo

It feels nice outside, the family and I had a nice lunch, the dog is asleep on the couch, and the kittens my cat had a month ago are frolicking outside enjoying the weather. All in all it's a beautiful day today.

I hope you're having a nice Sunday.

I bought some wild rabbit food because a local cottontail of mine just had her babies grow up enough to start on their own. They could fit into the palm of your hand and are just darling. I don't have a pic of them specifically but here's one of the others.

This one is Lord Hoppington. The smallest one I have named Pickles and I will post if I can get a good look. I also bought some Chamomile seeds yesterday to plant in the back as it is healthy for rabbits to nibble on. I wanted to convert a part of my yard into a wild garden with rabbit-friendly foods for them to snack on. Due to Null's encouragement I will start my seedlings today!

It has been over a decade since rabbits were around this area due to people having outdoor cats who killed all the local squirrels, birds, and rabbits. These deaths impact local populations for predators and in turn can really kill off fauna for an entire area. Keep your cats inside and encourage others to do the same. Cats are responsible for more environmental havoc and extinctions of animals than any other invasive species. Plus it's dangerous for your cat to be outside too!

Lord Hoppington beleives in you making good choices!
