I was at a certain theme park outside of the U.S. today and noticed that the Indian couple behind us in line had no concept of personal space. They kept rubbing up on my friend and I, touching everything even the plain walls, and tried to cut in line whenever the queue got wider. They were just dead eyed fish lipped staring at everything, but with no joy. Just dull and lifeless. It was bizarre.
On a side note, I’ve been reading more about Hinduism and I notice all the books stress its “cerebral” and self improvement elements, yet I don’t see this apparent in any of the practitioners. Is the average pajeet just praying to Ganesh for some pocket change while a few tantric perverts sit alone eating human flesh in the hills? Or is it a remnant of the hippie boomer obsession with India?
