TMI: I'm a fan of the British series "The Great British Sewing Bee". With each new season, I can't wait to see the fruits of the BBC's efforts in scouring Great Britain to find its heterosexual male contestant for the season. I debated responding to this because it's anecdotal, but with any man I've met who liked any fibercraft, almost all their other hobbies were completely masculine. Like I said in the other post, it really depends on the details around it.
Also, for much of human history, making clothes for both men and women was a need rather than a hobby. It's just that women did all domestic work, so it was relegated to women. It's only really a hobby in the first world, because we get all our clothes imported from third world countries, and so anyone here can sew for fun if they want to.

If I had to guess, most posts on that sub are handmaidens in that their logic is something along the lines of "Yes I wasn't really trans, but I still support REAL trans people." I remember hearing a story someone posted here by a detrans person where she was blaming TERFs for why she thought that she was trans because TERFS (according to her) promote strict gender roles. Basically, it wasn't the trans cult fault but the bigots who misunderstand gender identity and what being REAL trans is.
