My absolute favourite genre of pooner is the ones who find themselves in a situation where they're surrounded by actual men and stick out like a sore thumb, but will never admit it's because they're actually female and despite everything they do to deny it, they never quite fit in. I like to imagine a group of guys drinking beer, high fiving, watching football, bragging about the girls they shagged, then there's little Ayden sitting there with her K-pop haircut, pathetic face fuzz from testosterone and baggy hoodie, scrolling through her Twitter feed for "uwu smol tranz bean" memes. They might ask for he/him pronouns, call themselves men and go by names that are generally male (but could be seen as androgynous), but at the same time are clearly trying to create a whole new category. There are probably some who are naturally masculine, basically butch lesbians who took it a step further (much like the HSTS males) but in most cases it's the "soft boi" type and you just know it's all an act to avoid being "too basic" or exempt themselves from the societal pressure to be sexy, particularly if they're younger.
