I am pointing her out because she has had a very unfortunate response to testosterone. It hasn't made her more masculine, it has just made her fat, greasy, and balding.

I think it depends. I once asked some re-enactors about whether they hand sew their clothes, and they said that most machine sewed them but one man hand sewed their clothes. Hand sewing for historical accuracy is pretty autistic in itself, and I don't know if women do it, but in my opinion just focusing on historical fashion itself isn't feminine and it all depends on the details around it. I don't think I've ever met a woman who was obsessed with extreme historical accuracy.

I've never seen one who even acknowledges women from before the 1920's and not in a medieval fantasy style. Which is weird because the older ones (who went crazy from estrogen made from mare's urine or died of AIDs) were all into turn of the century fashion. When it comes to endless sea of autoandrophilic pooners, most of it really does just stem from female oriented gay male media. (Basically, yaoi / BL animu type content and fandom shipping) And, of course they fetishize and want to be a part of dynamics and scenarios that don't exist IRL because it gives them to the tingles.
