So a guy finds a way to counteract the way that underaged girls are disguised as adults so they can be "rented out" by cruel and hateful men...and he's evil.

Well, considering the ongoing exposure of abusers and rapists in prominent and powerful positions, color me unsurprised that the SJWs are freaking the hell out that someone has made it that much easier to help the victims.

I don’t really follow those sub forums but I think I’ll make some appearances there with this.
 
If you watched a youtube makeup reviewer, most guys would be shocked at how different a girl can make herself look. All those weekend benders and sunburn damage fade away in an instant.

I like how they act as if it's a mask they put on when in public to defend their privacy.

It's an accepted, obvious act of betterment that you may or may not be into it. That's not even part of the point, when men and women alike do the whole "Girls are pretty without makeup!"/"Wow I bet you'd be beautiful without makeup too!" crap.

But then when actually exposed to what that might be, oh no. That's bad. Let us hide and only chose to whom we reveal ourselves, you have to earn that after all. Just like how we only want to be hit on by people we desire it from.
 

Shoe0nHead made a vid about the app, showcases some salt, and even talked to the dev of the app.

The misogyny claim is a facade.

In reality women are so insecure that it is impossible for them to go outside without heavily dosing their faces with artificial garbage that makes them look like hags anyway in the long run. It's as if you made an app that replaced heroin with water, the addiction to the self image is so ingrained into the female psyche from such an early age, nurtured by overbearing mothers, that anything that removes their illusion of beauty is utterly destroyed. The only reason why the misogyny tag is even there to begin with is because admitting the truth would ruin the whole point of the L'Oreal charade.

I really wonder why every outrage absolutely has to have Russia tied into it somehow. Are we going full McCarthy 2.0?

Actually, it was originally made for testing technological applications at their company. But the guy said that after the original product was released, several organizations reached out to them regarding that, and they liked the idea that their work could help people.
 
Kinda late to the opinions here but I don't get how this is wrong or anything. Can someone explain why wanting to see below the makeup is bad? That's me saying I want the real you, not the fake dolly you.

We live in a society where you can wear a beard and dress like John Wayne and still demand that people call you "she" and "her", and a very large portion of the population will do it. The standard now is that other people must perceive you not as you are, but as you want to be perceived.
