This guy is fascinating! I agree with the others that have said the protectors are kind of cool, and he seems like he has some genuine talent. He's pretty young, so maybe he'll grow out of the stupid anime obsession, and branch out into more original work. Otherwise, he won't be the first artist to waste any talent/skill they have on shitty anime bullshit.

That said, how the fuck could you even sleep in one of those rooms? All those weird blank anime faces staring at you, and the sheer busyness of the environment seems like it would be awful.

If he's that rich, why not just commission some desperate hentai artist to make new photos of his waifu when he ran out of unique photos to use as wallpaper instead of finding a different waifu to substitute?

The cutouts and fanfics are definitely nutty, but I feel like this guy needs a little "push" downhill before he devolves into full-on cowdom. Not from KF per se, but maybe a falling out with his family or a failed crypto project or something.

He kind of reminds me of pre-ED Chris-chan when he was just some random internet autist making wacky comics.

Great find. This guy's a trip, excellent op.

One thing to point out for people not familiar with Danganronpa that stuck out to me, though : The series involves a recurring series of kidnappings where a group of highschool students are kidnapped for a battle royale, but the criteria for their inclusion in said battle royale is being absurdly over-the-top into some niche interest like weightlifting, animal training or cooking to the point where characters pointing out that others are taking their obsession a little too far is a recurring gag.

Papercraft and his approach towards it would definitely fit that category (especially with his 'protectors' and the dangan-ish presentation of his printer room) and makes me wonder if this guy has a bit of a problem differentiating fantasy and reality and is trying to get scouted for Dangan. The merge is on, after all.

Look, my point is this; Crypto and extreme autism is a match made in heaven. It's normal for the rich to give their children a seed fund with the expectation that the kids grow that money. If they gave him a seed fund and he went all in on Doge coin, it's entirely possible that Tobyn grew that money enough to buy his six million mansion all by himself.

If so, then he's not just a schizo, he's a money savy schizo who knows how to build capital. Number one rule of investing is preserve capital. It makes perfect sense that Tobyn is eating at burger king rather than rich people resturant #11. It's preserving capital.

There's an easy way to guess whether mommy and daddy gave him six million holo-bucks or he managed to make the reich choice in his investments; What do the siblings lifestyles look like? Are their life styles commesurate with their jobs income or nah?

Looks like the guy paid someone on fiver to act hype about his waifu. honestly I'm surprised that he didn't get more famous people to read his shit.

Found a video of him explaining why crypto is the future. very Ted Talky. says a lot about nothing. It strikes me as something his parents set up for him so they could brag about theyre smart young man. sad. Its clear he does not want to be there. He even plugs his book about super smash brothers melee probably so his mama in the crowd gets maximum dopamine. But it shows that he at least knows and cares about appearing normal in public. Its strange he craves notoriety when he's this much nervous of a public speaker. After seeing this I think it recontextualizes his online persona. Rather than a shameless autist doing fuck all with his parents money because he thinks the rules of the world don't apply to him, he is desperately trying to get the world to laugh with him. A self deprecating joke presented as a satirical façade, that when repeated ad nauseam shows the joke only to be the sad reality. Like when mumkey kept making incel jokes.

Been following this thread closely, I haven't seen anyone acknowledge that if he really wanted to be famous...his parents 100% could make that happen. They have the money to bring his weird art to the forefront of the modern art community and set him up with a cushy art job for life. Good on him for trying to carve out his own path.

The website is really interesting, I checked and there are only two pages on the site. The main one + a subpage that you get to by clicking the big button on the frontpage. I checked the sitemap to see if there are any secret pages but it doesn't seem like that's the case.

Yeah his parents have all the money and connections in the world but he tries to figure it out for himself which is pretty admirable. The Melee book namedrop is interesting, I've mentioned it in the OP before. I'd love if we could acquire a copy to fairly critique under fair use.
