I'm very surprised that people are saying the greens are all the same. They are not. The ones on the edges are, but the middle one is clearly a different hue.

The greens look more obviously different to me than the others, though I can see the purples quite well too, do we get extra credit for pointing out how some of the boxes are slightly different sizes too?

I read somewhere years ago that because green is in the middle of the colour spectrum we are easier able to discern subtleties between hues than for other colours so it surprises me that it seems to be harder for thread readers. Also wondering if I had more trouble with the reds because I'm mobilefag and have got a blue light blocker on my screen, which makes everything I'm seeing slightly more red anyway..? Also might account for why I can't see shit in the blue box...

ed: took off the screen filter and I can juuust about read the blue box, but now the squares look more misaligned than different sizes? Maybe I should go get my eyes tested, I'm worried I'm my eyes are trooning out somehow like @Poonocchio's now

Yeah, the greens were the first to jump out at me too, so yeah, a bit surprising. I think I read somewhere that paleolithic humans needed to be able to differentiate between greens more than other shades because most of what we ate back then were plants collected from nature, and the difference between an edible plant and an inedible or poisonous one could be a matter of life or death.

I dunno man, Ive been struggling with living on the streets on and off my entire adulthood due to things beyond my control such as abuse and lack of support. Life is rough af rn if you are the working class. If you dont have parents to live with or close friends wholl let you stay with them, you are screwed because landlords are asking way too much. Perfect credit score, a whole renting history, 3x the income of the rent in question, high rent in general, $75 application fees, it all forces you on the streets if you are simply just a young adult with no experience, even if you have a steady job and no debt (because no credit score). Its really, really bad out there.
But I keep seeing people who have friends, have family, have extra money, have access to low cost housing, and yet they willingly destroy their life to where they are forced onto the streets.... Then these same people wanna compare themselves to those who are actually displaced. No, you are just a lazy irresponsible leech with poor money making decisions. You get access to so many free things while the us who bust our ass working end up suffering the most because we wanna be self reliant. You are everything wrong with society today. The goverment is too accupied rewarding your irresponsible behavoir while leaving the working class to fend for ourselves despite literally being responsible, which only motivates people to become irresposible and overall spreads nilhlism amoung everyone. When troons can get free cosmetic surgeries while people are dying due to not being able to afford actual life saving care, why would you expect people to give a shit anymore? Its all a joke.
Though, of course, I highly encourage anyone to NOT give up and stoop to as low as these people are. Things will get better.... Eventually.

I don't have to troon out either, BUT what's up with the 'worst score for your gender' field? I did the test after you but for me its 1818 whereas yours is 8686. It should presumably be the same or higher, not lower, unless its connected to age range too, but in that case the description is incorrect.

I'm being a sperg but its griping me, if anyone else does it can you put the same gender and age range as one of us to see if it gives the same number in that field, it won't let me just change my values to compare. Then DM me or something cos I don't wanna derail the thread.

Honest question and please don’t be offended, but those who scored other than 0, can you genuinely not tell the blocks apart? I mean no ill, it’s just they’re very clearly distinct to me.

Also, don’t be too quick to envy tetrachromats, it’s actually kind of a hassle. Nothing print or on screen looks like it does irl, because these things are all made for and by trichromats. Just about anything painted will look shoddy to you.
A quick test to see if you’re a tri or a tetra is to compare a photo of a rainbow/prism to the real thing. If the picture looks the same, you’re a tri. If you’re a tetra, you’ll see very clear differences. Same thing with breaking waves. If they’re white, you’re a tri, if you see sparkly, colourful reflections, tetra.

It could also be an outside variable. Remember, we're not doing this in person in all the same lighting, everyone has their screens made by different people and set to different brightness, and people might have blue light filters on or off without realizing it, and in rooms of different light quality.

It's worth noting that any colour test like this is going to be heavily impacted by the quality of the screen you are usually to view it. We tend to assume that every screen shows colour the same but that couldn't be further from the truth. Try holding a sheet of printer paper up to a white screen on your monitor sometime, you'll probably be surprised how off it is!

I had the pleasure of living with a troon for two years conveniently when Covid happened. Can’t stress this enough he only did dishes 3 times, washed clothes twice, and only paid rent 3 times. Fortunately for him a kinder (?) roommate than I picked up their tab the rest of of his time there. We would get going for work and he’s be playing league, come back 10 hrs later and still be gaming with discord open in his third monitor. We would hear him crying on the phone with his mom about no money for food but she would send 1k a month. But unknown to her he spent all his school loans and stuff on 4k in TV and sound equipment and nearly as much on a gaming pc, loot box bait and ordered door dash every day. Whatever extra I don’t want to know but the breaking point was when he keep instigating fights then calling the police when he had enough and through that we found out we was digging our bra and panties out the laundry to wear and recorded people having sex in the apartment. They are all fucking freaks.

I just looked up in a brief Google search, so take it with a grain of salt, but the statute of limitations for that is 21 years in most states. If you have definite proof that he did it then you can probably get a case going. Especially if he distributed it, then the police can remove any video he has uploaded to any sight.

I think you should consider this option because you have no clue what he has or what he's doing with it and him not facing those consequences presents a constant danger to you and your roommate. Plus it would probably be an easy case for them because he's probably done more weird and creepy shit since then.

Also if you have a civil case: Easy payday
