Carrying a tool knife is pretty normal. I have a little victorinox I mostly use to open beers and boxes. Carrying a knife to stab your colleagues for doing a double take when they pass you in the toilets is a little odd

I don't leave the house without my CCWAnyone who doesn't at least carry a pepper spray is either very confident in the safety of the area, or a fool. Or possibly Swedish, considering any form of self-defence is illegal there. It's a civilized country, you're expected to simply let yourself be raped. Yes, they actually arrested me for having a tiny can of pepper spray in my jacket pocket, it's an awful place, avoid it.
Feeling the need to arm yourself for safety really might just be a woman thing though. I've only met a handful of men who would carry a defence spray or a knife, and the latter would have considered the former to be faggots, and the unarmed ones would look down on both for not just "manning up". Men don't really need to carry weapons most of the time, even completely untrained they are still strong enough that just a stick or a rock off the ground can be a lethal weapon. That's not really an option for most women. And men aren't usually the victims of crime in the first place, they're too dangerous for the criminals to go after. It's why I'm so opposed to weapon laws, criminals will just break the law and be armed anyway, so they only stop law-abiding people from defending themselves, and disproportionally affect women.
I do 3 Gun and my buddy is a Gunsmith so I've had it tweaked, its butter smooth and the trigger break is perfect.@Procrastinhater how have you liked that for ccw? Is the slide hard to pull back? I've been carrying a Springfield Hellcat for a couple years now and while I do like the ammo capacity for such a small gun, the slide is rough.
I need one for work, so I always have it on me. Not that I want to cut into the soft bits of some rando with an $800 tool, but, if you gotta cut a sucker, at least know where to aim. What is it with broads and knives?
Thanks for your thoughts. Im definitely considering adding to my rotation and its hard to get honest feedback unless you know someone who owns the gun or are able to go to a range that has firearms to rent and feel them out youself.I do 3 Gun and my buddy is a Gunsmith so I've had it tweaked, its butter smooth and the trigger break is perfect.
The Legion model out of the box is already fine tuned, thats why they're a little more expensive, but imo worth every penny.
Only complaint I'd have with the 226 as an EDC is its a full sized semi, its not a compact so its not as easy to conceal, thats not a problem in cooler weather, I can just throw on a jacket, but in the summer its noticeable just wearing a T Shirt, I'm fairly big though, (6'3") so its not as much of a problem. I just tend to wear a light shirt and it covers it. You can get shirts tailored to hang to conceal it better if you need.
In all its one of the best I own, I love it. I've got the trigger pull a bit stiffer than you would normally for 3 Gun competitions because its my EDC, but its crisp, I use a CZ Shadow 2 for competitions most of the time these days anyway, and I don't carry that so the triggers a lot lighter.
The Shadow 2 is designed as a race gun anyway, the Sig is better for EDC.
That Hellcat is a damn nice gun btw. I'd not mind one myself.
I know it's retarded but for the longest time I just kind of didn't question it. I guess not wanting to feel like a bigot was more important to me than actually stopping to think these things through.Oh, what, did you think the men who thought they were women had at any point been sane, reasonable people?
Look into the PDP-F, which Walther designed specifically to have better ergonomics for women, including a slide that requires less force to rack.@Procrastinhater how have you liked that for ccw? Now that looks nice. Walther make quality firearms.Look into the PDP-F, which Walther designed specifically to have better ergonomics for women, including a slide that requires less force to rack.
I've also heard from women at the range that they really like the Sig P365 as well.
Lol you're right, sorry its a hobby of mine, I get carried away sometimes with my enthusiasm. Can we at least have the gun talk in a thread that wasn't just taking the piss out of someone carrying a knife for self defense.

51 asspats for:Wife and kids moved out while I was at work today (self.MtF)

As I was leaving my office this evening, my pastor met me in the parking lot. Never a good sign.
My dad had asked him to let me know that my wife and kids had moved out, and make sure I was OK.
I came home to find a mostly empty house. She left me a bed to sleep in and some kitchenware at least. No note. No explanation.
This had obviously been planned in advance. She had help from several members of my own family that I know of. Possibly my own father. He at least knew it was going to happen.
What sort of evil people participate in this? This is the kind of operation you would mount against an abusive husband. Are transpeople really this scary? I would have helped her move out if she had asked.
I don't have a lot of advice, except that... if you're at rock bottom your situation can only improve.
He tells his wife he wants to be a tranny. Wife says she'll leave him if he troons out, and keeps the promise. Why is this dumbass whining?Anyone have a step by step guide to getting your wife on board with your transition? (self.MtF)

Obviously there's no one-size-fits-all solution, but I don't even know where to start.
I've been out to her for ~10 years, first as a closet crossdresser, then trans. I've successfully repressed it for most of that time, but the dysphoria has come back with a vengance lately. She says she would leave if I transitioned because it would be too painful for her to see me as a woman.
At this point, I'd be happy with even a partial transition, and/or staying together in a completely platonic relationship. Unfortunately, she has a pretty conservative religious upbringing (born Muslim, converted to Mormonism) as do I, so I don't have much hope.

(This one isn't mine I'm not doxing the serial number)
Notice how, at two and a half minutes in, his voice gets noticeably higher in pitch, compared to when he was initially approached and forced to the ground. It might be a sense of fear, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he raised his voice to continue the LARP and establish himself as a female victim of circumstance.Troon has his arrest video released
I carry a Springfield xds mod2. Its smaller and great for a cc.C@Procrastinhater how have you liked that for ccw? Is the slide hard to pull back? I've been carrying a Springfield Hellcat for a couple years now and while I do like the ammo capacity for such a small gun, the slide is rough.
