They're the ones that demand every one ask for pronouns but also hate it when you ask pronouns because it's clocks them. They're the ones that demand you need to date them or you're a bigot.

From what I've been told by an ex-military person, the admission standards as well as the physical fitness requirements are so watered down now that pretty much anyone with a pulse is allowed in and not pushed that hard by today's drill instructors. It's so fucking annoying because that same arc introduces another explicitly trans character that the fanbase basically just ignores. Probably because it seemed like Yamato was going to join the Straw Hats and so they only cared about her. The main cope I see is somehow the Vivre Cards (basically databooks for those not familiar with One Piece), that Oda makes and supervises, blatantly lists Yamato as female. Keep in mind that everything Oda says about a character in fan-sent questions or other Vivre Cards is taken as gospel, but not this one specific thing. I can only wonder why.
