That's probably one of the most creepiest things a troon has ever said about transitioning. If you transition just to become the the very thing you want to fuck, save us some time, take a trip to Saudi Arabia, and let the locals do the rest.
Added clout. It's not enough that they transition to the other sex, but they still get to be queer without committing to it. It's that little added layer of protections so they can still earn their modern-day social credit without having to be a man or a woman. You see this shit all the time with Tumblr folk.
Yeah, it depends a lot if they are using cross-sex pronouns along with the "they"
If you're a woman who claims to be a she/they, it means that you want to fit in and latch on to the "queer" or "trans" identity for the sake of conformity or social safety (that way, you can claim to not be a dreaded "white woman") but you also don't have to be assertive enough to go around correcting how people refer to you, or really change your life in any other way at all. It's the Vaclav's greengrocer of pronoun choices. "I am obedient, and therefore I have the right to be left in peace."
If you are a man and you are a he/they, you
might fall into the former category, but it is far more likely you are some kind of serial sex offender who wants an easy "queer" shield for when the victims inevitably start coming forward.
On the other hand, if you are a woman and you are
he/they, you are BPD and fat, and just enjoy the extra social control and drama of people never knowing exactly how to inaccurately refer to you (you also have a permanent excuse for meltdowns when people inevitably refer to you using a slightly different proportion of pronouns to what you have decided you want that day).
She/they for men is very rare, but some MtFs use it to be extra special and stand out from the other troons I guess.
