It is just a dumb point. Doctors can believe whatever they want but a surgeon bringing up any divine entity during a consultation to explain how the human body works and which interventions are viable would raise some concerns about professionalism, at the very least. We should all be thankful that no matter how much they try and pass, their behavior will always out them.

One of the differences I see is that for the most part, troons want in on "womanhood" and its social perks and customs without wanting to change or redefine them much. It can range from sincere homage to outright mockery, or be twisted by porn, but they still (generally) keep to the female/feminine script. They're ok with the common, sex based cultural practices and behaviors. And they work at keeping their maleness from surfacing and destroying the illusion. Pooners on the other hand, out of ignorance, fear, distaste, whatever, (feminism, cough, cough) seem to want to redefine the essential qualities and interests of men, manhood, and male culture. Or to blur them enough so they can still have their feminine fun while larping as "masc" males. We've seen pooners complaining about male behaviors in male spaces over and over. Those awful "cis" men are lewd, gross slobs. They're loud. Aggressive. Say mean things. (!) Troons may be ignorant of (or baffled by) some of the more subtle or generally unseen behaviors of females, but we don't see them insisting that they should change and be more like them when they encounter them in the wild.

I know what you're getting at but there are just some girls that are wigged out with men and nothing bad has really happened to them. They just have this anxiety around guys. It's like a version of turbo virgin or something and I honestly think it's part of how autism plays out in females. Similarly there are some guys that are freaked out around women, not necessarily going to describe it as being afraid of them or anything. It's just a thing that happens to some (usually autistic and socially underdeveloped in some way) people.

Also one of the reasons having co-ed schooling and play while growing up is a good thing lmao

I feel like early stage pooners (before they start chopping things off) can be fixed if they have a man come into their life and make them feel feminine. For women sexuality is more fluid, so it just takes someone coming into their life to fix them. It’s happened in multiple posts on here.

Allow me to weigh in on poon vs troon as an actual TERF. None of us hate pooners for abandoning their feminity, the whole point of being gender critical is letting people color outside of the lines of gender without insisting boys are girls because they like pink. Many TERFs are butch as fuck themselves and therefore have, by all appearances, rejected societal ideas of what being a feminine woman is. So that's BS.

We used to be sympathetic to FTMs when FTMs used to be mostly very butch women or women who sought to detach themselves from the vulnerability of femaleness because some uncle or scumbag touched her in her no-no place. That all went out of the window when the Tumblr pooners showed up. Now they're just as bad as the men, only not as much of a threat because they get laughed out of gay saunas and go cry in the bathroom about it.

Maybe I'm selfish, or maybe I just have an easier time imagining it happening to women because it's happened already.
