They did, but rather than being an example of 'rules for me, not for thee' I think in Dr Luke's case it's simple pragmatism: despite whatever else he may be, dude is a competent producer and has created a lot of hit records for people. What's really funny is when celebrities are pressed to explain these choices. Like #MeToo spokeswoman Katy Perry, who defended re-uniting with Dr Luke with this non-answer:What? Didn’t the leftoids cancel that rapist and anyone dumb enough to work with him?
