Fuck McNigger

Now with that out of the way, 2 hour documentary on HL2 made by Valve themselves:

This is a must watch for every Valve geek. A lot of interesting tidbits about Valve's and Gabe's inner workings, a lot from a mentality and business standpoint rather than just game development.
It amazes me how much shit was stacked against valve at the time with the leak and lawsuit and still managed to make one of the best gaming experiences of all time, plus finally having closure on why Ep 3 was never made at the end.

and once again McNigger is flip-flopping in wether he likes or hates Valve these days.

I hate this little faggot doesn't reveal who that returning artist is, now I need to waste time lurking and scouring wikis to find that out.

Other shit he uploaded not in the thread: (If anyone could tell me how to do that collapsible thing, I would be grateful)
Wrap SPOILER tags around the videos 👌

Tyler is super paranoid about a supposed group of people making a botnet who are gonna use AI to make him look like a tranny hater.

I might be completely wrong about this because I'm not sure how accurate social blade is (feel free to call me retarded)
If you look at Tyler McVickers YT account through social blade he randomly gained 4,000 subs august 5th-12th exactly one week and after that it was 1,000 subs august 19th-26th and another 1,000 august 26th - September 2nd etc etc. If you look at his subscriber count these are the ONLY subscribers he's getting, They're all 1,000 (besides that one 4,000) and are all gained each in weeks if this is accurate this is very strange coming from a channel that sits practically dead at exactly 369,000. Maybe he's botting?

Buying them is unlikely, SocialBlade granularity goes down as the overall count increases. A vastly smaller channel (And very good) is still only being tracked in increments of 100 subs while being at 5 figure sub counts. The Jim Sterling channel is also in six figure counts, and also is only tracked in the 1,000 subs granularity. Looking at a vastly larger channel in Markiplier, he's only tracked in the 100,000 level with tens of millions of subs. And a giant in the hundreds of millions, TSeries, is tracked in the million subs increment.

So it looks like they're only tracking 1% for order of magnitude - IE, five significant digits tracks in the hundreds, six significant digits in the thousands, seven significant digits in the tens of thousands, and eight significant digits in the hundreds of thousands, nine digits is in the millions.

YouTube removed exact sub numbers for large channels because of all the live sub count trackers that were showcasing people unsubbing en masse after various controversies

Tyler has been tangentially called out for being a creepy-stalker child by ex-Valve writer Chet Faliszek.

I almost feel bad for gabefollower because Tyler is a million times more flagrant but I can't say I really pay much attention to him so maybe he's just as retarded.
I think that Chet has a serious point but at the same time I think it's a hard one to instinctively grasp from the outside looking in ...especially if you're a dumb teen who's never worked in a large professional organization.
Not that I'm defending those reddit fucktards who tried to tresspass into Valve for a mrbeast prank or harassed someone over a prolonged period.
As-if I needed to clarify that though. I mean, imagine ADULTS doing that shit.
It's only natural for companies to publicize themselves as one monolithic bloc with a couple of figureheads driving things.
Then again, who the fuck is expected to rattle off "The Reference Photo Team" when they're thinking about "The Important Figures of Half-Life"
...and they are important! All that industrial art doesn't just materialize independently.
The sad truth is that great works like Half-Life come from an almost intangible number of parts and I'm not sure if there's a good way to accurately convey it.
lso for some side content there was a reddit thread with some fairly wetbrained takes
I dunno. They seem to have some good points.
Like how Valve created (and at points intentionally cultivated) an entire industry of perverse speculators and this is the inevitable result.
Or how commenting on well known half-life figures rejoining the company isn't some sort of horrible holocaust-esque crime.

Tyler McNigger is a huge sperg and I hope hes quaking in his boots over this video, but also Chet sperging out saying everyone is "dehumanizing us" for seeing ex-valve employees being hired back and peoplr speculating hl3 veing in the works is super spastic.
