Lolcow UncleSamPatriot / Pekka Luodeslampi / Y-Man

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Ooh, a QA from USP.

Sorry for asking, but since I do know you mostly by name and reputation, why did you start making videos? How big part it plays in your life?

It changed my life. I met Tony several times and he did remember me by my name and gave me advice.

Did you ever speak with Tony about his politic views?

I can understand close to everything in most of his videos. In addition he's been around YouTube for a long time now and never had subtitles, so I wouldn't expect him to suddenly start using them. It would be helpful in some cases, but it would way too much work for how much it would be worth in return.

Curious to hear this answered as well. Googling "UncleSamPatriot" already gives kiwifarms.net as a result on the second page, so that is my guess. We aren't a massive site or anything, so I wouldn't say he decided to sign up with only promoting his channel in mind either.

Also curious to how you found the thread so quickly, I've seen a lot of your videos come up in cringe playlists on Youtube and almost every time you have already found and commented on it. Do you find these yourself or do you just have a lot of friends that link it to you?

Thank you for behalf my motherland. I say for Finland: Simo Häyhä the legendary sniper and for America I am not sure, I would have to study history more carefully since there are so many good choices.
Simo was pretty awesome for a sniper, my grandfather talked about his legacy some, he was a "Svensk-frivillig" and served for the Finnish cause, not that he was in battle or anything, he served as a chef, but soldiers have to eat aswell, wich made me curious, i guess you have seen the talvisota movies and such, if yes, wich is your favorite amongst them? Curious since i am about do do a chronological marathon of said films.

I would like to point this out now before this thread is diluted. Questions about Finland should be answered mainly by UncleSamPatriot. There is a weird phenomenon with finn folk that when ever Finland is mentioned all the finns have need to comment about their country. It hasn't happened in this thread and I don't wan't it to happen. Sorry, don't want to sound like a dick.

Anyways @UncleSamPatriot few questions: Didn't you do a nintendo wii marathon for charity? Do you still do streams? What do you think about Finns in suburbs (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa hipsters) differ from the finns in the rural country (like hipsters in san francisco vs. guys living in the rural area)? Do those main city folk have the right idea how things work in the north and have the right idea what to vote on those sort of issues. What do you think about our Military? Yes to Nato our should we stick to appeasing the Russians?

I usually google myself everyday to see what people have posted, I select time span like 24 hours or a week and read. That is how I found out the forums. I enjoyed the stuff posted by people over here so I thought to join to converse with people.
What did you do to celebrate the fourth of July?
I did just make a video and send public greetings in Facebook.
I really don't see Pekka as a normal lolcow. In 2009 or something there were a lot of talk about Pekka in Finnish boards (mainly in dead board Kuvalauta. Pekkas preaching about anti masturbation did really hit the Neet's of kuvalauta hard and there were some sort of "war" directed to Pekkas youtube channel. Maybe you, Pekka, can comment on this. There were some hostility from kuvalauta towards you but I don't remember how dire it was (probably some nasty comments). The reason I don't see Pekka as a true lolcow is because he has a self awareness that the stuff he does is weird as fuck and is for entertainment purposes. He is a hardcore Christian and it can be lulzy how he preaches how masturbation is the tool of satan etc. In the end Pekka is a youtuber with some disabilities. In a way like boogie2988
Thank you, yes the comments have mellowed down with the demise of Kuvalauta.
How is your dental insurance? Have you considered getting a pair of dentures? A mouth full of false teeth is better than nothing.
I did wear dentures years back but they did mumble my speech and also the metal hooks did cause other teeth to be dented.
Is it true that there are lake trolls in Finland? What should I do if I see a Finnish lake troll in the U.S.? Also thanks for coming to the farms. :)
You are welcome. Finnish lake trolls are called as Vesihiisi. Get a big caliber gun and shoot the troll. Then bring the troll to James Randi and get 1 million dollars from paranormal phenomenon. :D
Why do you look like a potato?
Because I dislike eating potatoes, I guess my looks stop me of being potato cannibal of my own kind. :P:D
Any comics/manga you like to read?
I am big fan of Marvel comics. Hulk is my favorite but all time favorite story is Thanos: Infinity Gauntlet. Hulk, Thor and Juggernaut are my favorite characters. I do like Galactus a lot too and many others. For manga my favorite is Fist of the North Star.
@UncleSamPatriot ,
Are you familiar with Christian Weston Chandler aka. CWC ? The internet celebrity this site originally was about?
Yes.
What are your hobbies/intrests? Aside from America of course.
Christianity, Fitness Boxing and Boxing in general, exergaming/video games, exercising in general, trying to set different records/world records in as subjects are very interesting, endurance pedometer walking, Marvel, friends, sport science and measurements of all kinds (I have measured fighters personally and been in the news about that.). Surfing the Internet, publicity campaigns/writing and of course Youtube video work/acting.
@UncleSamPatriot: Welcome sir! Oklahoma resident here. I would like to ask what inspired your love of the South?
Thanks! The Bible belt, music, big strong guys like George Foreman, agriculture, the flag looks nice, great nature, food (barque meat...), cars like monster trucks, the whole package, the list goes on.
Hey um, @UncleSamPatriot. I've been meaning to ask, but what was with the baby Mario getup? I'm not trying to be rude or anything, so if I offend you, I apologize. But it feels really creepy seeing someone like you do something like that.

Also, I must congratulate you on making a good first impression here too.
Thank you! Baby Mario was my attempt do something so bizarre that I can do.
Hello @UncleSamPatriot, and welcome to the Kiwi farms, I hope you enjoy your time here.

Other famous Finns that I know of include Simo Häyhä (the White Death) and world champion racing drivers such as Mika Häkkinen and Kimi Räikkönen. Are there any other great Finns (other than yourself) that I should be aware of?
Thanks! Tony Halme/Ludvig Borga and Robert Helenius the boxer.
Oh my god, I have to see you in person when I return to Finland in a couple months...

Edited to add: Did I see you at RoPeCon in Espoo in May? You do look kind of familiar.
No, I was not at RoPeCon.
You know, @UncleSamPatriot, you approached this with a surprising amount of maturity and restraint. Nice to see someone that can smile and address things civilly even if we say some things that might seem a bit insulting. Sorry 'bout the whole nervous system disorder, but the fact that you acknowledge it and you don't let it get to you shows that you have a pretty thick skin and you focus on things that make you happy. Honestly, not even sure if you can even be called a lolcow. You seem like a pretty chill dude with some small issues that you don't let get in your way.

Welcome to the Farms, as people have said before. Hope you enjoy yourself, and we salute people who can act as awesome as you in the face of our antics. :semperfidelis:

Anyway, since you're here, here's a question and I don't mean to be insulting, but do you do anything besides the whole YouTube gig? Just curious, and I don't mean it in any offensive way. Your videos are interesting, but interesting in the way that makes me smile when I look at them again. You got a new sub here.
Thank you really much! I listed my interests in a post just moments ago, I hope you find it.
hey uncle, unlike most of the cows here i think you're great!

have you ever heard of the all american hero cmdr J. Conners? he pretty much personifies the us and i think you'd get on well- the deaglenation subforum of this site is dedicated to him and his friends.
No, I have not heard about him, I have to check. Thanks!

Hello USP! Not heard much about you, but I do think it's nice that you uphold one of our fine country's noblest patriotic traditions: Exporting Weirdness.
As mentioned in by other folks, it's nice to see a colourful Internet personality who isn't blowing up all over the forums. Which leads to this question:
Our forums have a really huge variety of opinions and viewpoints (tastes, politics, social issues, religion, you name it), and the management is apparently in a constant state of bafflement because we're not at each other's throats.
So how exactly do you keep a cool head? What has led to this state of mellowness?
Most importantly, what would you recommend for other colourful Internet personalities to do when nasty meanies at a nasty Internet forums (in reality, not that nasty either way) are having discussions?

Would you ever consider doing livestreams?

Yes and I have done them in the past, I did livestream my name's day party:

Yeah, what's up with that anyways? Just about all of the verified users here suck. Since when are they amiable in conversation and mindful of the forum rules?

Also, @UncleSamPatriot, how is the vodka in Finland? Is it better than in other Nordic countries?

Thanks! I don't drink alcohol so I don't know. (It is not because of religion but I have been a opponent of intoxicating substances since childhood.)

Indeed it is refreshing to come across one that is civil. Like a few others have said, welcome to the farms @UncleSamPatriot
As a Christian, aside from the favorite verses, was there any book within the Bible that stood out to you?

Thanks! The Book of Judges, I just love the part where Samson get the Holy Spirit and kills 1000 people up at the same time, that is a real slugfest! But my favorite book in general content is the Book of Revelation.

How do you feel about Ecclesiastes? That book is the shit and then some.

Great book showing the state of natural man without God.

Ooh, a QA from USP.

Sorry for asking, but since I do know you mostly by name and reputation, why did you start making videos? How big part it plays in your life?

Did you ever speak with Tony about his politic views?

Very big, it is my way of expressing myself and socialize with many people. I started to make since I have been into acting since childhood and I did get into so many Finnish Funnies Internet Videos so I thought to make some on Youtube too.

No, I did never spoke with Tony about politics, it was more personal stuff and boxing.

Also curious to how you found the thread so quickly, I've seen a lot of your videos come up in cringe playlists on Youtube and almost every time you have already found and commented on it. Do you find these yourself or do you just have a lot of friends that link it to you?

My favorite is the original one:
Tuntematon sotilas year 1955.

I like how you're being such a great sport about all of this. Keep it up!

Did you know anything about the Kiwi Farms before @Glaive made this thread about you?

Thank you, no I did not know, I only did know about CWC.

Yes, I did Wii Fit Marathon. Yes I do. Well nobody can know until they have walked mile in their boots, there is huge conflict of interest in Finland between the agriculture zone and the city folk. Military is suffering because the great depression of Finnish economy, I think we should not join Nato because our economy cannot take any more expenses and to unify our tools of trade with Nato would be a big bill.

My favorite is the original one:
Tuntematon sotilas year 1955.

Ooh! It reminds me: the novel was recently re-translated to English too (as "Unknown Soldiers"). Which is big news, because for a really long time there used to only a clumsy abridged version.
What's your opinion on this, and do you have any expert reviews coming up?

Thank you! I hope nothing can stop the Ynaut of being freight train of Finnish madness.
"(Rom 12:18) If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men." That would be by guideline. Salvation and thus personal relationship with Lord Jesus Christ enables me to stay focused. But really if you cannot stand the heat, you better stay out the kitchen. What you do in the Internet and life in general are very public, everyday somebody is making a judgment about you, how you act, do, speak and think. In the web, it is just easier to put it out to words. So I say it is better not to read the conversations if you get offended. I highly suggest all people of salvation, that puts things into right perspective. I used to get to get offended much easier before I got saved.

God damn I like you, you just summed up what so many have failed to realize time and time again. Despite the craziness of your videos, you're clearly a collected, rational individual. Who's your favorite American President, if you have one?

I'm kind of jealous you have the Ludvig Borga Hasbro figure. It was one of the many I was never able to find when I was a little kid. *sigh*

Need some help making a decision here fellow Kiwis.

Pekka has directly asked us that he'd very much like an UncleSamPatriot page on our lolcow wiki within his Kiwi Farms greeting video from yesterday.
However, I'm now questioning whether or not we can even call him a lolcow at this point. We have defined the term lolcow at the top of this very page as: "Lolcows are bizarre people/groups/events, that are on the Internet, and respond negatively to people in a funny way."
Key word here being negatively, which Pekka has absolutely not responded as such. Complete opposite.

One way we could approach this might be to say that while Pekka isn't a lolcow, his character of UncleSamPatriot could still be considered one. He's already used the word 'acting' a few times in this thread which further emphasizes this difference. I'm sure we've included other lolcows in the wiki that pull off this form of exaggeration for their content so I'm voting yes to writing him an article. Especially because he himself jumped to the subject the second he found our site requesting a writeup.

Anyone opposed? Other thoughts on this?

Either you could leave the thread as is and add a disclaimer at the beginning of the thread with what you wrote here, or you could move this thread to the Off-Topic section. I like the former idea more.

Yes, he is bizaare and funny and it's nice to see someone show appreciation for our attention for once
