Lolcow UncleSamPatriot / Pekka Luodeslampi / Y-Man

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Need some help making a decision here fellow Kiwis.

Pekka has directly asked us that he'd very much like an UncleSamPatriot page on our lolcow wiki within his Kiwi Farms greeting video from yesterday.
However, I'm now questioning whether or not we can even call him a lolcow at this point. We have defined the term lolcow at the top of this very page as: "Lolcows are bizarre people/groups/events, that are on the Internet, and respond negatively to people in a funny way.
Key word here being negatively, which Pekka has absolutely not responded as such. Complete opposite.

One way we could approach this might be to say that while Pekka isn't a lolcow, his character of UncleSamPatriot could still be considered one. He's already used the word 'acting' a few times in this thread which further emphasizes this difference. I'm sure we've included other lolcows in the wiki that pull off this form of exaggeration for their content so I'm voting yes to writing him an article. Especially because he himself jumped to the subject the second he found our site requesting a writeup.

Anyone opposed? Other thoughts on this?
If a lolcow is acting, I wouldn't really say they're a lolcow.

But we've fudged the rules in the past. Like, for example, if pamperchu has ever flipped out, I've never heard of it.

So, it's probably not a big deal if UncleSamPatriot gets a wiki page.

I mean we have Jace and company in there (inb4 I get jumped on for breaking kayfabe) so I don't see why not based on that principle. His response has been overwhelmingly positive though, so I'm unsure on that front.

I think it would be okay for the article, especially since I doubt there's ever been a time somebody has actually requested to be on the wiki. Clearly he understands just what it means to be up there but between him being one incredibly chill dude here on the forums (and also able to come up with some witty responses - the potato cannibalism response is pretty good, in my opinion) and having done nothing but be open to civil discussion on his beliefs and whatnot, he could be an article subject on how you can post crazy stuff like a lolcow but still be every bit a decent human being that people like.

@UncleSamPatriot If you're still here, I have an actual honest question here. I know that Finland as a country has a disproportionately high number of English speakers compared to other Nordic countries, and I was wondering what your experience with that is? Is it a cultural thing where it's learned naturally due to mixed cultures interacting, or is it simply a compulsory education to learn it as a second language?

I think it is because Finnish TV shows are subtitled instead of dubbed so people learn English, same with movies. That is how I learned, from the culture around me, movies, series, comics, games and so on. Thank you all for continued interest in me. I try to answer more questions tomorrow. Today I was making something wild, a video with 30 of my favorite video game songs along with lawnmower action shot with GoPro chest harness. The combination will be very strange indeed.

@UncleSamPatriotor is it simply a compulsory education to learn it as a second language?
The dubbing thing that USP mentioned is true, but learning english is compulsory from third grade onwards. Sweden and some other Nordic countries do the same too. English doesn't really have an official position in Finland like Swedish does, but swedish is only taught from the 5th or 7th grade onwards, with 5th graders being allowed to decide whether they want to start Swedish or some other foreign language, such as German.

Hey @UncleSamPatriot, sorry if this has been asked already, but is there anywhere in particular you want to visit in the US? New York? DC? San Francisco? You know.

So it seems you're in the "confederate flag had nothing to do with slavery" camp. Can you tell me what you think the Confederacy is about? What do you like, specifically, about the US South? Me, I love the food. Fried chicken, grits, and collard greens, mm-mm!

Edit: Did you listen to CM Punk's shoot interview with Colt Cabana earlier this year, and what did you think about it? Do you think it will have wider implications for WWE? Do you think Triple H and Stephanie will be better or worse for the company than Vince?

No, I have not seen the shoot interview. I think that Vince is the best king and has always been, a great wrestler too, he knows what he does. And his power walk is great heel entrance. Vince is great, he originally drafted Ludvig Borga/Tony Halme and invited his character.

By the way here is my latest video with American Football gets uppercut.
Sorry about the late reply and for all you guys whose questions I have not answered yet. (The Confederacy question I answered in another post.).

@UncleSamPatriot Have you ever read the Kalevala? As a Christian, what do you think about the last rune (the story of Mariatta) ?

No, I have seen only text bits and pieces but whole Finland is saturated with thus I have seen various interpretations of it in various media. I went online to check the story of Mariatta. I think Kalevala is realistic piece of information what Finnish people used to believe and the still the influences are strong over here. Many times it is said that Finland is secularist country or atheist. But things like witchcraft are surprisingly popular, depends on the area where you go to. Horoscopes are published in mainstream magazines and TV shows did have live astrology guidance broadcast and so on (I did call to one and preach:
. Various occult things in general sadly are picking the steam up over here.

@UncleSamPatriot What are your opinions on your other nordic brothers?

I think there is friendly rivalry between Sweden and Finland, it is fun to see who wins in various subjects, the Ice-Hockey matches are especially heated up. But yes I do like the other Nordic countries.

I would like to see the Peter Ruckman's church and the man himself at Pensacola Florida: http://store.kjv1611.org/ Also I would like visit Mississippi and meet the missionary friend and his family again. (They were some years in Finland and from him I got the Confederate flag.).
