Most of the people I see demanding money for nothing are people who spend too much anyway. They'll whine about not having money, then their next post is a photo of the coffee they got in Starbucks or something. So I'm not going to give somebody money that they're going to spend on luxuries when I could just cut out the middleman and buy my own luxuries. I mean, sure, a life living on the bare minimum sucks, but millions of people manage it.
If you want money just for being a member of a minority, then as far as I'm concerned, you're part of the problem. If you're physically capable of working, then you should get a job. If you're not, then that's what welfare is for. Something I've noticed about all these people who whine about not being able to get a job because of transphobia or racism or something tend not to provide any evidence that they're actually trying. Nor do I ever see evidence that they've taken any legal recourse, as would be their right if they genuinely have been discriminated against.
So what they're basically doing is sitting at home, bitching about The Man, while also feeding off him. People like that are exactly the opposite of what they claim to be. By making their minority group such a central part of their identity, what they're basically saying is. "My demographic is useless." I believe it's irresponsible to further enable such behaviour by giving them money.
And I don't care how much "privilege" I have, if you're going to hate me, I'm not giving you shit. There are real charities out there.
