You ebin trolls out there should send him money to troll him
He's already made 3 dollars, he's on to something.

Sweet, a $40 Lego thing when you pledge five times that amount!
What were we expecting guys?
"For 50$ I'll send you a picture of my taint."
"For 100$ I'll make a YouTube video personally thanking you"
"For 500$ I'll make you a villain in Sonichu"
"For 1000$ I'll make you a hero in Sonichu"

"...But the Biggest risk is being able to afford ALL of the Sets and Pieces required to build it! Multiple Hearlake Malls and Schools, Olivia's Houses, Summer Riding Camps, Grey Baseplates, and even more that I can not estimate right now, because I would be just getting started on this project!"

So he hasn't even done the math on what this would require. He's just splurting out a number and hoping that it covers what he needs.

Or rather, knowing that it covers some of what he wants, but no guarantees. Which does not include a new place to live or his mom's teeth.

Chris should start a kickstarter to build a Lego House so he and Barb have some place to live once they are kicked out of the rental house.

It's real. Chris posted it on Facebook.

Incidentally, I'm surprised Chris used Kickstarter instead of, say, IndieGogo, since they only fund you if you reached your goal. Guess he's dead set on making at least $5,000 here. At least he's honest about it going to Legos.

He's probably never heard of the other sites. We're taking about a guy who's usual browsing is limited to Wikipedia and eBay as if his internet is stuck in 2009

"Will the project be tainted if you cannot get all of the necessary Lego sets?"

I hope he'll be able to answer my question!

$5,000, for a Lego mall, that serves no one but himself, while he has no permanent living arrangement.

I can only assume Chris has gone into full-on denial mode. That's the only way this makes sense. Nobody can be this asinine without deep psychological issues.

Does he plan to build this, or is this just a front to get money. He might think that with Kickstarter, it will be easy to get money. I also doubt that he will fulfill the pledge promises (I say 'doubt' because I still have a small shred of faith in Chris that he will keep his side of the deal).

Edit: I know it's off topic but, we should all make our own versions of Cwcville (not just the mall) as a little forum contest, winner gets a trophy or special board title.

Please stop whining about Chris' finances.
Who are the jackasses that have given him $8 already?
Can we like, not encourage his bullshit?
:heart-empty:

I believe that this is a true and honest front to gather enough money to build his mall or whatever.

With that being said, we will not be able to see him keep the promise of rewards because kickstarter will most likely take this project down before project completion, assuming Chris even reaches those goals.

If he was writing a Sonichu or even a Trollbusters comic I would donate like five bucks, but five thousand for Lego?
No, I think I will donate to the kickstarter my library made to fund a wing for special needs kids.

I was going to say the same thing, but all we can do is shake our heads disapprovingly at the idiots who think enabling Chris is funny.

ALTHOUGH, if they get it to $4999 on 10/23, and the Kickstarter fails, I'll give credit where its due.
