YeahThis that shitty anti cheat still there?

"You went over the speed limit. For that, we're having your car turned into a cube."
Lol no.I mean the silver linings here are that riot is going to get ganked by an angry mob and that it's possible that after that lawsuit, a few goverments might look into making it harder to justify allowing companies to just attach malware to their software. Y'know as a treat to their customers.
I just can't help being a positive Polly.Lol no.
Even if we didn't live in clown world this wouldn't happen.
"It should be illegal to sell an operating system that will stop devices from pretending to be something they're not"Personally I think it should be illegal to sell an operating system with the ability to do that, except to people who thought it was a good idea
Yeah, and Crowdstrike weren't trying to brick millions of Window devices.Riot isn't trying to brick my car. They're not trying to brick my house.
Then why the fuck did you even make a comment?Yeah I get it, slippery slope and all that but... I just dont care.
If you play video games "competitively", you seriously should try to find a hobby that doesn't involve being a massive fag. What does that have to do with fucking up everyones day by cheating? I know im in the extreme minority here but anyone who has ever played competitively knows that people doing this kind of shit just fuck it up for everyone else.

I agree and the original implementation of this anti cheat was when I quit playing lol it was always a game would fire up once every few weeks. To me, what's more concerning is the fact that everything works so ass-backwards nowadays that there's a good chance some jeet at Riot Games will fuck something up and this bricking will affect normal systems. Then if something like this becomes widely used (because a big company like Riot uses it, so everyone has to try it), there's a bigger chance of this going sideways. I don't care if you love or hate cheaters. The fact that this is even possible in the first place and that someone has this much control over your hardware is fucking nuts.
Essentially this, but there's a power imbalance between some idiot using cheats and a company pushing software that can attack your devices. Malware or no, brick or no, there should be boundaries to what companies can do, and that should be one. Can't we hate both riot and the fags using hardware level cheats?
This feels like two different specicies of vermin fighting.
Anyone who has ever played competitively needs to kill themselves. What does that have to do with fucking up everyones day by cheating? I know im in the extreme minority here but anyone who has ever played competitively knows that people doing this kind of shit just fuck it up for everyone else.
Yes it did.It didn't damage the computer at all.
Your arguments back then were also wrong and the things you defended back then were also unreasonable.Read about what happened. Jesus fuck, this is like when I tried to explain TPM to paranoid retards
