Yeah, this is the kind of thing you need to talk to a qualified therapist about, not an anonymous circlejerk of other pedos. There's just no way that there isn't shady shit going down on those private forums, no matter how virtuous they claim to be.

Yep. I mean, surely there's some state that doesn't have manditory reporting by therapists, if you tell the therapist you're a pedo but determined not to act on it. Those people, while I don't want to say they should be commended, should at least be pittied a bit. But it's not an orientation. It's a disorder, and a messed up one.
Also, the idea that "virtual child porn", or just written, or drawn cp should be okay...that doesn't sit well with me. On one hand, yeah, no actual kid is being harmed. But on the other, the idea is to keep the desire down, not to feed it. And people like NAMBLA supporters, who compare themselves to the gay rights movement, and claim, "well, at one time gays were persecuted, and homosexuality was considered a disorder, blah blah blah", fuck you. Kids can't consent, asshole. *shudder*
(A lot of people I've talked to seriously think that NAMBLA was made up by South Park. That's how fucked up the whole thing is.)

I had originally seen the Salon article by Todd Nickerson mentioning this forum, and I wanted to see if they were really 'virtuous', and discovered you have to email them to even get a link to the forum and register an account(took me about 5 days to get a response). So I released a video exposing some of the shady stuff said on the website:
Needless to say, they discovered it and did not like it. The last two days have been them flipping out on their forum and saying I was being unfair. So I offered them a platform to give responses that I will address in a second video, and instead of letting the dialogue continue, a co-founder of the site decided that my ideas were toxic and the notion that the forum should be public is insane so he removed my post. I'm working on responding to the already posted arguments they've sent me, which contain a lot of very poor arguments and stuff that's blatantly false. I'll keep you guys updated if you're interested.

It really does scare me. By the time I have kids the world will probably be accepting of this kind of thing... and unfortunately Cookie Princess guy is no liar. He saw my video and was so scared he had the admins delete his account. They know this shit is wrong.

There's nothing "virtuous" about courting a six year old girl like the Cookie Princess guy talks about in his story. The "virtuous" route is buying a few boxes of cookies from her -- not $400 worth -- and wishing her luck on earning the top seller prize or something to that extent and ending the relationship there. Shame on her parents for not immediately being suspicious of that kind of behavior.
I really do hope that social perception of things like pedophilia do not shift in such a way as to pity and accommodate these types of people. Salon is doing a tremendous disservice by trying to humanize sexual predators.

If they really were as virtuous as they claim to be, their forum would be completely public for everyone to see. The fact they're hiding like this proves one of two things. A; they're liars & know what they're doing is wrong and they only operate like this to avoid getting caught or B; they're afraid of being judged & are unwilling to prove themselves, which makes them cowards.

It'd be nice to see one of the many groups claiming to be 'Anonymous' expose the rotten morass and publish email addresses etc. Hopefully your investigative work gets picked up by one of them somehow.

They compared it to me not showing clips of myself having sex in the bedroom, which is an absolutely idiotic comparison. I was just notified by one of the other founders that I have been banned for publicly showing user posts, but I have backups of a good amount of pages so they aren't getting off the hook that easy.

A lot of pedophiles seem to get the idea that their victims are in love with them, or return their feelings. That why they can justify their actions. Granted, he's a famous rock star and this guy isn't. But depending on how charming or wealthy he is, I could definitely see someone manipulating a parent like that. They don't call it "grooming" for nothing, and that's EXACTLY what that guy was doing. The fact that he deleted his account I think shows that no, they aren't just trying to help each other out -- they know that this shit isn't kosher. You want to try and be virtuous? Thing is, they might be able to justify having one or two sections of the forum kept private, but to hide the entire thing just screams that there's something going on that's not so virtuous.

I was just curious, so I did a little surface digging on Google. There have been various studies done on the matter. Here are a two study abstractions and one short article on it-

This particular study says that there really isn't any clear link between low-intelligence and pedophilia. It states that the previously thought correlation between pedophilia and low-intelligence is based on a selective bias and faulty conclusions based off of a previous study. They also mentioned that intelligent pedophiles are the ones that (shock) tend to lie about being pedophiles, so that might have skewed results, as well.

This article looks at what I think is the same, or at the least very similar, study on pedophilia and low-intelligence and has come to the opposite conclusion. They state that it appears that there is a link between genuine pedophilia and low-intelligence.

This article also states that through MRT scans of pedo brains do show a correlation between low-intelligence and pedophilia, as well. It also goes on further to state that there also seems to be a correlation between the intelligence of the pedophile and the age of their victims.

Basically, it argues that child porn should be legal, because if you happen upon a crime scene and film the evidence, you can get charged with a crime. Yeah. You also seem to forget that the children in the images already produced have to live the rest of their lives having been abused at that time. Then you expect them to live in a world which says it is OK for the whole world to legally view their abuse for entertainment.
