I'm not clicking that. But just knowing it exists makes me sick to my stomach. It's probably hosted in one of those sketchy Eastern European countries that has lax laws about such things. They're getting bold if they're making a publicly accessible wiki. Easy to investigate at least.

A part of me REALLY wishes for some kind of cure for this kind of thing. As I don't like to wish death on people. But that's just me being optimistic.

Children don't have the physical maturity, emotional maturity, or sense of self required for a sexual relationship. So there's no way for them to consent to this kind of thing.

To me, pedophillia is one of those things that can destroy a child's innocence, and mess up their minds for possibly the rest of their lives. People who act upon their sexual desires and do this kind of thing disgust me.

It doesn't matter if you're repressing it, no one wants to know you want to fuck children.

Well, I don't think that's unreasonable. Even if you DO feel that even uh, "non-practicing" pedophiles deserve death, a cure would save a lot of children from harm.

I don't think it's being a SJW to feel bad for pedophiles who genuinely want help and can't get it, especially since, like I said, it would prevent a lot of kids from being hurt. But I don't think a self-help community is the answer. And the comparison someone made to AA is ridiculous. Drinking alcohol is not a crime, and it's not a crime for a recovering alcoholic to fall off the wagon. It sucks, but it's not illegal. Nor does AA encourage people to find fantasize about drinking, because the fantasy somehow "gets it out of your mind" or whatever they claimed. AA tries to break the addiction, and encourage people to find ways to deal with one's problem, to confront it, and to AVOID situations that would bring on drinking. Not to just look at pictures of alcohol, make drinks that look and taste like alcohol (even if they're not), and talk about how good alcohol tastes and feels. Which is what VirPed seems to do. "Oh, let's create a fake kid out of pillows!" Or, "virtual or written child porn will help the urges!"

Not to mention, AA encourages people to get professional, as in medical help. People are NOT advised to go cold turkey (as in, that can fucking kill you). I have a lot of drunks in my family, and have lost people I love to addiction. These idiots are just like "dry drunks", I'd say.

That's why looking at this site is like watching an explosion happen in slow motion. The fire has already been lit, forces are in motion, and there's not much of anything you can do to stop it. Even though you know innocent people are going to be caught in the blast radius.

Pedophilia is a disease and I don't think you can find an example of anyone who was "cured" through non-drastic means (and even the drastic means can't be considered a cure). You don't put a bunch of suicidal depressives in a room together and tell them to just "work it out" amongst themselves. All you've done is guarantee that things will end badly. These pedophiles aren't looking to rid themselves of the disease, they're looking for validation that indulging these "safe" outlets are healthy.

This saga will end when the inevitable (if not already established) child porn ring set up by site members gets busted by the FBI. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later in order to minimize the number of casualties.
