When she's loading up the car and talks about the anxiety of shopping I find this an interesting look into our gorl's mind nowadays. She notes her change of mind from loving to go to the store to now getting both angry and anxious. As @MeLikeyLurkey said, the chinks in her armor of denial are cracking under the 550+ pounds. Deep down she knows she's overdone it on the joyous shopping and the self hate and anxiety are setting in. I predict depression coping which we all know will be late night comfort food runs to Wendy's...

Best lol moment for me this video: 5:21. It sounds exactly like Becky says "I wanted to get weed, but I couldn't find weed". Fucking Becky the stoner Freudian slip. Also wtf is wrong with Barilla? I mean sure it's no Deccecco but it looks like they just got Kroger store brand?

What she's getting that is if my STUPID IDIOT HILLBILLY gorlfriend really understood how serious obesity was, she wouldn't give in and fetch me food evenwhen I scream at her and emotionally abuse her. A more cultured or educated person would take as much abuse as I can dole out but not give in because they'd understand how IMPORTANT it is that I lose weight and they have to do the work! I would lose weight, then.

She's just so country and so fucking inbred and dumb she doesn't get how SERIOUS my life-threatening weight problem is she's not taking this as SERIOUS as I do.
 
This whole thing about using a mobility cart at grocery stores is getting ridiculous. Every once in a while I can see her needing it, but, if she can waddle her fat arse from a car to a restaurant - she can waddle around a grocery store .

Based on the style of the pouch, I would say it was intended for a teenager, so yeah, perfect for Amber's mentality. Never heard any woman I know mention having one or seen one out in the wild myself.

The nutrition info is provided but it's an estimate based on how the restaurant wants the food prepared. There's always going to be differences as one cook may pour on the oil and another may go light on it, for example. Even in a chain where a corporate backing pushes standards, it doesn't mean the individual making that food is following it.

Since Amber is the type of dieter who feels she should use up every single calorie or point for that day, she should really be sticking to home cooked meals that she cooks from scratch, where she weighs and measures everything herself. That won't happen though because of the draw to restaurants and her lack of motivation to actually learn to cook. Too bad as she does have the time to do it along with the money to make an fails not a big deal.

So basically she’s saying Becky is retarded then? Because that’s the only type of person who could look at Amber and not see her size as being a fucking emergency.

It’s not really her need to debunk everything... it’s her need to only debunk stupid stuff. Like the size dispute she mentioned, it really does not matter what size she wears when everything she’s able to buy is a potato sack.

If she wanted to debunk the people who say she can’t lose weight, can’t get healthy, can’t edit videos properly, refuses to get her pets taken care of, then it might be tolerable because she would be moving in a positive direction for a change...
 
I just started watching the video and damn, she's huge. And she's not even doing anything to trigger us so it's boring to watch. And no thanks to necky for that too. This is now disturbing content of watching an almost 30year old in delusion eat herself to death slowly

How many US dollars would you bet that Becky has never seen Amber naked, like with the lights on? This might be part of why Becky is allegedly so oblivious about the weight loss thing. Amber keeps even Becky at a distance, physically and emotionally

I found this interesting too. I think she's finally reached the point where literally nothing fits her. Before, she could squeeze herself into whatever size and claim it fit, even if those things were supposed to be oversized and are now tight. I'm guessing that old trick has suddenly failed her with the latest jump in weight so the image she has of herself and her weight is beginning to show the cracks more. This means the 'normal' activities people her age do (go out to stores, see cute things) are now not accessible to her, even on the level of the plus sizes. She can tote around her 2xl carpet all she likes, but the things she got from torrid were 5xl and 6xl weren't they? And some of those things didn't fit. She no longer has the pretense that she can do normal things, even things designed for plus sized people, and I think that's really mentally bothering her right now. It makes her weight more real to her, instead of this temporary thing that she just needs to drink water for a few days and get rid of the bloat to see her 'real' weight, which is actually X lbs less.

I think for a long time she's pushed away the serious of her situation with the idea that 'Oh, I'm heavy but I can still...' (shop at walmart, even if I have to squeeze into stuff. Go out with friends, even if I have to sit the whole time). Getting over 500 was really the beginning of the end for that, and now at nearly 50lbs heavier she can't keep the charade up even in her own head, so the trips to the store just make her angry because it forces her to see herself more the way she is than the way she pictures.

Becky sees her naked when Amber gets stuck in the shower like a pig in a fence and has to be hauled out. The moment Amber becomes dislodged and crashes into Becky, wearing nothing but her grey bra and yoga pants that she doesn't even remove to shower, is their version of making love.
 
You always see this sort of anxiety and tantrum throwing with people who get to be 600 + pounds. Besides MSHPL I've watched other shows focused on people around that weight and they are just a complete emotional train wreck. I think the limitations of mobility and not having access to activities they enjoyed, like shopping, really affects them. And of course there are the medical complications of someone that size--constant pain, hormone fluctuations, self pity and anger, diabetes(which can make someone act absolutely psychotic is it isn't treated). AL knows at this point she's being stared at like a circus freak when she leaves the house and that has to weigh on her.

Edit:
If you think about it, shopping is probably becoming a nightmare for her. She can't fit down an aisle if another shopper is down there, she probably gets out of breath reaching for objects and bending over to rearrange them in her cart, standing and walking and getting in and out of the car have to be exhausting.
 
So, kids, what have we learned about macros? - That's right! Nothing!

Going back and forth with a new diet strategy every 10 min. is part of her eating disorder. None of those will work because she needs someone to put her on a plan and make her stick to it even when she doesn't feel like it.
Maybe deep down inside she realizes that and (being the responsible sweetheart that she is) that's why she's putting that blame on Beckster instead of confronting herself.

On that note: Has anyone else caught wind of the whole scandal with that BetterHelp app she allegedly used? It's all over YouTube what a scam it's turning out to be (no shit...) and I can't stop imagining stupid Amber's serious face when she was talking about how well that was working out for her. I wonder if she will eventually bring that up, kinda want her to.

pasta needs some of that orange chicken sauce.

Going down a handicap isle... people seeing a youngish looking woman using a scooter so she might be getting dirty looks and comments plus using things meant for disabled people. that could be causing her anxiety. The last time I saw someone using a scooter at walmart they had no leg... which I guess might be AL soon but right not she still has 2 working legs.
