Hardwick died possibly of a drug overdose although he was isolated at the time of his death to the point his corpse was decomposed enough to make figuring out the exact cause of death difficult.

Ngl it was nostalgia bliss seeing the old gang back together. In an age of hazbin hotels, helluva bosses, digital circus, and lavkadiasy. It's nice seeing dumb but fun simple but gory as hell detailed web toons again.

While it would make sense for the time, but I think it was unintentional. They could have gotten away with making it obviously a gaybow, especially as the show went on, and deliberately chose not to. It would also be after the show premiered (around the 2012 election) where the whole "we GOTTA expose children to homos!" would really start to be heavily pushed outside of tumblr circles. It probably has no actual meaning and was just thrown on because it looked nice.

I don't think it would make sense for the married woman of 3 children to be the character they would use to prop up homos, plus in the show she works on a rainbow factory (which are made using every carcinogenic material to exist) so there's that.

You know, he's a smoker, they could've just given him a stoma like that one guy from early South Park and given him a robotic voice. Though maybe it's more respectful that they didn't. Hell, it'd be kind of funny if he was still there and just spoke sign language or some shit so Joseph had to translate (since obviously Dale wouldn't learn standard sign language since it was secretly made by the government to cripple vulnerable deaf people by giving them arthritis) and he'd only ever "talk" out loud through another character.

I own physical copies for all asterix books and nearly all lucky luke ones, it really amazing how Goscinny managed to capture the essense of timelessness with the vast majority of his works. Lucky Luke, Asterix, Iznogoud (even Oumpah-Pah was pretty great for how short it was), are all nearing 70 years old at this point and they're still as fresh as when they were first writen.

Asterix has like 80 movies and something like 90% of them hold up impecably, Lucky Luke has the equivallent in animated series, and they are also extremely good, Iznogoud has less, series/movies, but they are still good.

Goscinny with his comics single handedly created an entire media empire consisting of hundreds of movies and series, animated and live action, as well as videogames, nearly every single one of which perfectly holds up even today 50 years later. Unironically puts marvel to shame.

May I ask, do yo know any sources where you can get a majority of the Asterix movie and TV series collections? I only got the comics in physical form and a few movies.

May I ask, do yo know any sources where you can get a majority of the Asterix movie and TV series collections? I only got the comics in physical form and a few movies.

Your best luck is to just look around on piratebay, there's no real place where they're all collected like an archive or something. Most of these things I own physical copies of that are nearing 20+ years by now.

I regret not making a digital archive of them sooner.

Hell, I've been looking for the 2004 Iznogoud film for ages, that came out relatively recently relative to all the older movies and there seems to be literally zero trace of it online.
