Maybe this is a really obvious question to ask, but given that literally all we are getting nowadays in terms of mainstream entertainment are remakes and adaptations of popular pre-existing properties... Why is everybody seemingly so fucking bad at it?

She's supposed to be a redhead, but in every scene in the trailer except for possibly the one in the car it's every other color besides that. Seriously, her hair goes from black to brown to black again to dirty blonde to finally maybe red? Or is that just the lighting? I'm asking because it's literally changing color during the scene.

Netflix still does it too. Of putting random niggers in diversity hire positions. POTUS, ultimate heads of some organizations, it’s doing in fiction what the democratic party actually has done and are losing incredibly as a result.

It’s just suicidal for an organization in reality so pretending it’s fine or even desirable is so maliciously dishonest.

My theory is they want DEI writers because they think it makes them more money somehow. After eliminating more than 50% of their hiring pool for arbitrary diversity reasons, combined with any of the good "diverse" writers being snatched up by other companies due to their high demand, it becomes very slim pickings. They have no choice at that point but to hire some retard with little experience writing shows. To make matters worse their idea of a 'diversity hire' also involves hiring people who are obnoxiously politically driven which tends to turn their show into the writers personal outlet for their opinions.
