Pizza, drinks, art. Plus watched the Rekieta/Null stream and both House of Ashes streams. Went into town and nearly drowned in rainbow shit. Checked in on other drama websites—they were simultaneously taking the piss and hand-wringing because they know they’d be next if the farms fall.

Did the usual weekend cleaning and laundry and went to my parents' house for dinner on Saturday. It was their wedding anniversary dinner so I helped out with the cooking too, made some very fine steaks in a cast iron pan.

Finally got caught up on my reading too. I bought a new Kindle earlier in the week but hadn't set it up yet.

Friend invited me to all you can eat sushi on Saturday, followed by dicking around a strip mall until we got accosted by one of his underclassmen from high school, who could probably amass a reasonably sized thread here with how insufferably autistic he was (it was not pleasant for either of us). We hid in a Starbucks twice trying to avoid him.

On Sunday I went into the city to pick up my first film light, cementing an exit plan in case this full time job doesn't work out and I return to my old line of work. Capped out the weekend with some Yakuza Kiwami and chilled sake before going to bed.

I wish I had more weekends like this, kiwibros. Mine usually tend to just be me staying inside and drawing all day/playing vidya. I wanna go fishing once it stops being so insufferably hot out.

Went onto site searching. Played some games I had downloaded awhile back and got to the half way part, nearly completed too.
Browsed lolcow.farms to keep in watch over Keffals, watch a soccer stream of 8chan, and played doom again.
Was fun.

We actually had nice weather for once (it's just coming into spring and we've had record rainfall this winter), so the wife and I attacked the garden in preparation for planting out our vegetables. I also drank heaps of beer in the sun and went a little nuts with my chainsaw, so I have a lot of logs to get rid of now..
Smoked some beef ribs and brisket on Saturday, made burnt end beans for Sunday dinner, lamented my morning coffee lacked the Farms for entertainment, but otherwise it was a very positive weekend.
