Because Google are complete whores to advertisers. And after the AdPocalypses they will take literally anything thrown their way, especially because it helps pad the books and make accounting magic work to justify their own self importance.

They never banned them, they just sorted them to a different "for kids" algorithm that gives the people that upload those kinds of vids slightly less of their ad rev money.
Weird shitty mobile game ads are a dime a dozen as are literally transparent MLM and phishing scams and yet they want us to not only keep adblock off but CLICK the fucking ads? Fuck off!


EDIT CAUSE I REMEMBERED THIS: There was a mobile RTS monkey game I never played that gained somewhat of a bit of popularity a few years back due to their animations being cool little representations of the game characters doing things based on what happens in the game.

I checked a month or so back to see if they were still around making decent promo animations and it's now devolved into a well animated version of the bait and switch scam ads but also somehow funnier as a result.
The older videos used to have individual titles and still did last time I checked but now when I go to link them they all just are titled "age of apes promo video" save for the ones that were live events and some of the newest ones. One of the more recent ones used to be titled "OFFICIAL CHINESE MONKEY LORE" because of the meme that took off of the earlier promo videos getting labelled that with the chinese song used in a viral promo video for the game.

Kinda odd seeing this "scam-ification" happen to game ads in general now.

He's a crappy Iranian "expat" singer whose latest works mix children with former porners like Alexis Texas.
A few years ago, him and 6 other "Tehrangelesian" musicians (that every other day would like to remind their audience of how much they hate Arabs), participated in a concert that was basically a big wank for Bin Salman.
What's that to do with this thread? Well his whole performance of about 3 hours, was used as an ad in certain regions!
